  1. What kind of riding you do on ice? Drag Racing or regular ice circuits(??) I have these and they hold for a long time. http://shop.teamlaine.fi/images/large/etunastarengas.jpg http://image.nettix.fi/extra/partimg/1037701_1037800/1037775_l_f3e72b40d117202f.jpg
  2. I think about it. The swingarm looks good. Is it a stock link style? -Pasi S.
  3. Can you post pic´s about this swinger? ...better if you have pic´s of it when it´s mounted to your bike. What is the price of this swinger? Thank you. -Pasi S.
  4. If those new front tires are 23x7-10, then you are fine. 22" rears goes better with them for looks and ground clearance. I use 23x7-10 fronts and 22x11-9 rears Maxxis RazrII´s in winter. If you end up with 23" and 22" tires, I think it´s wise to gear it a little lower. I have 13/42 with those bigger tires and stock 14/41 with my 22x7-10, 20x11-9 summer tires. Hope this helps. -Pasi S.
  5. Not 100% sure but if I remember right the stock transfers are something like 43-44mm from the deck, and if they are something like 41.5 to 42mm from the deck they should be around 127 to 130 duration. I think you should measure them first and post your numbers here. -Pasi S.
  6. ...just want to say this. I had exactly same numbers in my -06 low hour cylinders. After new pistons, bore & hone I did the compression check and it was only few PSI´s higher! Guess what, I had a leaking tester!! LOL! After knowing that I did it with a better tester and it was good but not as high as it should be with my milled head... Hmmmm after I looked around the forum I did a squish test... guess what - my basegasket was too thick and my squish was huge! Now I know - double check everything! -Pasi S.
  7. Nothing big but I just want to say. 31K and up was RZ over there in USA and Japan. It was RD here in Eorope. I have 1983 RD350 LCII YPVS 31K. I think that the 1980-1982(or1983) LCII model was the closest to a Banshee. Water cooled with out YPVS.
  8. Can you get the shipping price for the 21x12-8 10 paddles to: Lielahdenkatu 31 N 94 33410 Tampere Finland USPS only!! Please. -Pasi S.
  9. I´m not an expert here but if your previous crank was 4mill 110rod and now you have stock stroke 110rod crank you have to change the domes for stock stroke. You stroke is now 54mm and it use to be 58mm. When your piston is at TDC it´s 2mm lower now. Your compression is lower and squish is huge IMO.
  10. You can take more out of it. Here is mine like it is right now. "round II" is still going... -Pasi S.
  11. Can you find out the shipping cost(USPS) for those Shearers to: Lielahdenkatu 31 N 94 33410 Tampere Finland (EU) Thank you. -Pasi Saaristo
  12. I would try 14/43 or 13/42 and see how it works.
  13. Cool down!!! We a are only trying to help you here. Banshee HQ is full of professional people and NO ONE wants you to break your motor! If you do some mod´s that efects to air going in and out of your motor - you have to change your jetting and adjustments in your carb´s. If you don´t know how to do it -> you should learn how to do it. You can find info and help here. If you can give a list of modifications you have done to it and elevation and your jettings.-please. I think that someone will tell you if you are close or that you need to do something that you will not blow you motor. -Pasi S.
  14. CPI here http://www.bansheedepot.com/prodimages/cpi2.jpg Shearers here http://67.199.65.66/fileshare/forms/10/SHEARER-BB-RAW-discount-corner.jpg Toomey T5 here http://www.hsdracing.com/ProdImages/toomey/Toomey-Banshee-t5-chrome-kit-450.jpg Find pic´s from google. It´s fastest way.. -Pasi S.
  15. Little off topic but still would like to share.... I have a RD(RZ)350 31K YPVS street bike and I love how the motor gives the power. I can go uphill roads with 3000 RPM´s only. It´s geared lower than stock but it can still do 112 mph. Good power range is between 4500 to 9000. I know this one old man in my town who has a new 31K motor(1984) sitting in the garage. He´s asking 1000€´s for that. It´s a complete motor without the battery. I´m saving the money for that. One of my dreams is to build a RZ Banshee for my son. Nothing extreme, only healthy 2-stroke. -Pasi S.
  16. I would start with stock 14/41 and see how it goes. I think you have enough power to pull 15/41 or 15/40. I have 14/41 with my 20x11-10 8 V-padlle Sand Sharks and I think I´m going a little lower gearing like 13/42 and test it. I don´t know how much I have power but I think it´s between 45 and 55. -Pasi S.
  17. When you get the internet can you please up date the part list and prices. Thank you. -Pasi S.
  18. Porting is when you change the size, duration, shape and angles in your intake, transfer and exhaust ports in your cylinder. This way you can modify the power output in your motor. Porting is something that should always be done by professional builder. ...something like that. -Pasi S.
  19. I think it is 33 rwhp.
  20. May I ask what kind of rear tires are you running with 13/46 gearing? This is absolutely not the best I can do, but mine were 8 to 11 sec´s (100 meters) with more mod´s and 14/41 gearing and 20" Holeshots. Lot of spinning. This was not on the DRAG, it was measured on the field. (60ft. was between 4.6 to 2.6) -Pasi S.
  21. RK makes the best chains in the world. -Pasi S.
  22. you have to run if the EX is with all the bolt on-mod´s.
  23. I have a nice set of stock pipes that I could trade for your Cheetah motor... I have heard from a old RZ350 racer that there is also some stuff inside the stock RZ pipes that should be removed. Helps alot of top end power. I´m going to do that after the snow comes. I think I can chop the stock Banshee pipes with pic´s but I can´t test them in anytime soon. -Pasi S.
  24. This was the answer that I was looking for. Thank you!
  25. I have a milled stock head and now I am just a seconds away from ordering my coolhead! Thanks SLO, lot of good info here! -Pasi S.
