Just noticed the first post..... Is it cheque book or check book? Someone give me a english lesson. LOL i am the wrong one to give english lessons but i am pretty sure it is check book.

I wonder if he thinks someone is actually going to pay that?! He did a nice job building that bike and it does look good but he is on crack if he thinks he is going to sell it.

[its a drag bike has never seen a jump... and front sprocket is an 18 to big for a case savor... but i was thinking the chain was too tight.. it happened after a launch.. i launched in a lil bit of sand then spin spin spin.. grip and i heard the crack.. so i was guessing the chain was too tight.. That is a nice looking bike! If you launched in some sand and then hooked really hard it would not have made a differance how tight your cahin was i dont think. If you hooked that hard then i am sure thats what did it but it does look like the case was already week from a chain break.

I agree it was the chain. When you put that thing back together make sure you get a case saver on it before that happens again

I agree with that i have heard lots of those stories also. If you tell us were you are located i am sure someone could tell you who is close to you. You really want someone that is going to be there after the build for you. I have heard great things about F.A.S.t and i have heard good things about Passion also. I have personally used Redline Racing and he is a great guy and is always there to answer any questions you might have. There is more out there it really just depends on were you are at.

I have never personally had work done by him but i have saw lots of postings from people that have. My only suggestion would be that pick a builder that is close to were you live at it just makes thing easier down the raod. There is a lot of great builders out there that will do you a great job.

Got an intake last night but still could use a set of headlights if someone comes across a set.

Well i was looking for a pingel and then i saw what you did to your stock on and thought that was a great idea so i went out to the shop last night and with my die grinder and a carbide bit it took me about an hour to do mine. I would post a pic of my completed one but i seem to be having issues doing that. Great post grpark20 it was easy to do and it works really well. Mine is going to Redline Racing to run on the Dyno next week so i will see how well it works.

If the TOR is loose that could be part of your problem. If it is that loose then you could be sucking air there and that will cause you problems.

With T 5 pipes and dual filters at sea level i would put 320 in it and drop the clip one notch on the needle and it should run really well.

I am sure Jeff would do you as good of job as anyone and from what everybody says he is awsome to deal with and does good work. I would recomend you just give him a call and tell him what your riding style is and he will tell you the best way to go for the money. Then if you have any questions going back together he will be more than happy to help you out i am sure. Or people here will be able to help out also.

Wiesco pro lites are the best pistons to go with. There is no reason to change rods unless you have a bad one then if you do have a bad one it is easier to just replace the whole crank. Were are you located at? Do you have a good shop you can take the cylinders to have them looked at?

There is no reason to swap your motor out. If you need to split the cases it is not a big deal and you will get lots of help here if you need it. Were your cran sits in the cases is a blank hole that does not go into the tranny so if you need yto get the pieces out of there you can take the motor out of the frame and tip it upside down and flush it out good to get the stuff out. You first need to have someone look at the crank and if it is hurt or not. Unless the rod got really hot i cant imagine it is hurt.

I agree with stroker unless you plan on porting that thig soon dont do with that big of a carb.

I agree you would be really pleased with a stock cylinder 4 mill and you could do it for the money you are looking to spend. Unless you ride up in Oregon...I'd stay away from the cubs for trails as well. Why did you make that comment dajogejr? Just curious what the differance is between here and somewhere else?

The way to replace that seal is to pull your clutch cover and then pull the clutch basket and then you can pull the shift shaft out and look it over and see if it is still good then you can just pull the seal out and put a new one in and put it all back together.

When you take out the motor and put a different one in it is no longer a banshee.
