  1. Thanks for the info lowbucks i really appreciate it. We have got to carry the regesterations for our bike? Hell i dont even think i know were mine is. We have whips because we ride the Oregon dunes all the time. How much are the permits and do we need them for the bikes even if we have Oregon permits and do we need one for camping? Thanks again
  2. Hey guys we are still leaving the night of the 10th or the morning the 11th. We had a couple of guys had to cancel going so if there is anyone from the Oregon or Washington are that wants to go to Glamis we have room for 2 more bike. All you would need to do is share in the cost of fuel for getting there. We are going to ride for 4 days and i am sure it is going to be a ton of fun. If anyone wants to go along make sure and hit me up soon. Also if anyone has any good pointers since i know several of you guys just got back from there dont be afraid to give any advice.
  3. Ok if the bike is boging a little off idle it is probably jetted a little fat. Your mains are the main jets in the carbs and they are right in the middle of the carbs if you take the bowls off the bottoms of the carbs. Your evevation i was just asking what elevation Yukon is at because that makes a differance on what jets you run. Dont feel stupid everyone had to start somewere my friend. I would suggest dropping the needles one notch and see if it helps out on the bogging issue. Take the tops off the carbs and puul the springs out and then you will see how to get the needles out of the slides and then take that little tiny clip off (be careful not to loose it) and then raise it one notch and put them back in and see if it runs better.
  4. What is your elevation? Depending on your elevation your mains should be around 320 and you should have a 27.5 pilot in it with the needle clip in the third notch down.
  5. Thanks man it has been a lot of fun to build so far.
  6. It seems to me these pipes are like any thing else that goes out of production. Once you cant get them any more they are the best think ever made. I have never heard a engine builder say hey go find a set of DMC pipes they are the best thing out there. I am not saying they are not a good pipe i just think people have got a little carried away with saying how great they are.
  7. Make sure you check all of Portland Albany Eugene because like pnw banshee said that bike has been for sale for ever and there are many more bike on CL around here that are a better buy than that one. That is a nice bike but you can get one for a lot less money than that.
  8. What you need to do is hold your clutch lever right were the pressure first starts on the handle then adj the screw in you bearing on you clutch till the arrows line up. The lever you are lining the arrow up with will not move till you put pressure on the clutch lever. You wnat to just feel the cltuch pressure when the arrows line up.
  9. LOL i have no idea what i did to make the pic like that but hope you guys can see it ok.
  10. [img=http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/qq233/chevy7944/0215091541.jpg] Well we have made a little more progress on the S-10 so i thought i would share the pic i took the other night. LOL it is cool to fire up an S-10 and have it shake the whole shop when it is running.
  11. This is a very common banshee problem. Just take your slide out and spray some carb cleaner on a rag and wipe them down good them wipe the inseide of the carbs out also and it will solve your problem. they get a little sticky in there and they will do that. I have had to do that to mine and my buddies several times over the years.
  12. Got the clutch basket still looking for a head.
  13. A cylinder or a head?
  14. I have Namura pistons in most all of my 4 strokes and i have been very happy with them. Wiseco all the way on my shee
  15. I am in need of a cylinder head for a LTZ400 or a KFX400. If any one has one let me know what you need to get out of it. I also need a clutch basket for a blaster i think any year will work. If any one has either of these things PM me with a price and i will pay you with paypal if you can take it.
  16. Sorry Ricky i have not been on here in some time i have been mening to get back to you. That intake does not look at all like the one off of my daughters warrior once the pics are blown up.
  17. Have a blast at Glamis boys! Wish we would have planned our trip for this month instead of March so i could meet all you guys. Be safe and take lots of pic's.
  18. I run the 21x12x8 ten paddles on mine and i love them. I have ran the 22 and i much prefer the 21 but thats just me.
  19. WOW i knew you guys would be full of info. Thanks guy i appreciate it.
  20. I understand your post no problem and i had to learn this the hard way lol good post.
  21. I think you better investigate a little further than just the clutch cover because if you rebuilt it and you had to tow satrt it then something is not right. I would guess you have a problem somewere other than in the sidew cover. If it is a new top end then it should start by just kicking it no problem.
  22. Just like the tittle says can you put the rear hubs off of a raptor 660 on a banshee? I was guessing they were the same but i am sure one of you guys will know the answer to that.
  23. I dealt with C&M one time when i lived up in Sumner and i would not recommend dealing with him.
  24. Call Cameron at Redline you will be very happy you did awsome guy and does great work. He did my port work and all my friends port work and we have all been more than happy with it. 541-367-2453 if you want his number
  25. From what i know of the modquad heads they are one of there own nothing iwll intercahnge but i could be wrong. I do know that they are a pain in the ass to install and if it were me i would throw away those little washers they give you to install under the acorn nuts on the head. I talked to Cameron at Redline racing because we were having trouble with on that the o ring keeps leaking on and he told us to just put a dap of sealer under teh nuts instead of putting those o rings on.
