  2. It all adds up after awhile but from what it sounds like its worth it . Everybody has been really helpful on here .
  3. I know what you mean . I dont want something i have to wrench on all the time but i do want to improve performance . I just need enough power to be faster than a piped renegade 800 or a piped raptor 700 . If i can get that then i will happy with things .I dont mind running race gas either .
  4. thanks . I will do that
  5. Has anyone heard of Jerry hall ? I have heard of passion racing and fast racing ?? Who out of those guys would be recommended or are they all really ggod ?
  6. I am in richmond / Virginia . Is there anyone in this area thats anygood ? I dont mind shipping my stuff out if needed i just want a good builder with a good reputation for reliabilty , performance & service
  7. i know what you mean . Its always nice to have a builder that is close by & you can stop by and see whats going on . To me , i want to make sure i find the right builder because that can make or break the deal . I want to find a good builder that does good motor work & a builder that is reliable and does what he says he going to do . I have heard horror stories of people sending there stuff out and not being happy
  8. thanks , i thought about giving it some more compression by chnaging the dome sizes etc.. & that will be my next step . I also got a message from someone on here that said to call Jim at Passion racing & he could help me out . I called him a he seems like a nice guy & very knoweledgable . Has anyone on here every had work done by him ?
  9. I have a cool head with stock domes on it now but i also have the original stock head that is practically brand new .
  10. I could possibly run two carbs with K&N filters and outerwears
  11. unfortunately i need a air box because we do encounter mud, dirt , water etc.. where i ride
  12. Hi , i am new to this forum and i am not sure if i am posting in the right place or not but i need some advice . I have a 2006 Yamaha banshee thats brand new with very low hours & original top end . It has v-force reeds , stock cool head , toomey t-6 pipes which i have learned arent the best for a modded banshee & K& N filter with the power lid . I have friends that has a raptor 700 & a friend with a Renegade 800 both of which are slightly modded with exhaust & filter mods . I want a banshee that will outrun them if possible but i dont want a fully modded banshee that i have to work on all the time . I dont mind running race gas but i want a faster bike with good reliablity & good motor life if possible . I thought about port work alone & possibly changing my dome size on my cool head but would that do enough for me to beat my buddies ? I dont need a top fuel dragster but i would like to have more power on tap . I also wanted to know who does good motor work ?? Once i figure out what to do then i need to find a good builder to send my stuff to . any advice would help , thanks
