  1. Hey dude we are going to be at south Jetty April 6th through the 10th camping at Odd Fellows again.
  2. We swam in the water and so were most all the rest of the people that were camped there. The water was not very deep but nice to cool off in.
  3. 300 mains is to big for 1,400 feet and still running an air box you hsould be down are 260 to 280. The bogging is most likely caused by the fact that you are putting way to much fuel in it. When you istalled the idle screws did you make sure to grind the carbs down enough so that the screws go in far enough to make the slides lift?
  4. Running bad mid range will not be fixed by a new topend. If it is bad in the mid then you have a jetting issue or a carb issue. Did it just start doiing this and then you decided to do a new topend?
  5. That looks like some pretty badass dunes!!
  6. You runs 280 mains in that thing at sea level here in Oregona nd you will make it about a half a day and burn that bitch up I can promise you that!!! With dual filters and pipes on it you do not want to be any lower that a 310 and most all the guys have 320 or 330 mains and you are only at 700 feet.
  7. Ya know I am sure you could find someone that would fix them for you but for the price of a nice set of cases I would not think it would be worth your trouble.
  8. Just curious what did the machine shop charge you to mill that block out for you??
  9. The only water there is a lake that is not very big and the camping is right next to the sand. Just depends on how hot you like it. It gets really cold and snows in the winter there and gets pretty warm in the summer.
  10. Wow where did that idiot get his facts from????????????
  11. Went there for the first time last year and cant wait to go back. It kicks ass wish I lived closer but will still be back soon. If you like long steep hills it is the place to ride.
  12. As long as you replace the stock springs with at least 3 heavy duty ones most of the clutches will hold up pretty well. I have been running the R1 or is it R6 disks in mine for a long time with heavy springs and have had no problem. Sorry cant remember which one it is.
  13. HA HA HA HA I read it and had a good reply but Tyler had beat me to it!
  14. I would say 330 is going to be to rich since you are running an airbox still I would go with a 320 to start and probably not even change the pilot for now just change the main jet and see how it runs.
  15. If you cold not tell much difference before to after porting then I would say you are in need of some better port work! I have ran T-6 pipes on a 4 mill and while they are not ideal there is not a lot of difference in them and T-5 pipes. Even with less that pefect pipes if your port job is any good you should notice a hell of a diffenece once you port your bike!
  16. I would say start with a 330 main and a 27.5 pilot and the needle clip in the middle position and work from there.
  17. I dont remember what I am running through it I will need to look tonight. Cam it is not moisture the suction hose is just filling up with sand becasue the sand I have it to course and it will not pull it. I have a water filter and a dryer on my compressor because I paint with it also.
  18. Right on 05 I will have my serval on by then. Looking foward to seeing how that bitch runs!!
  19. I would love to get rid of my front brakes but when you do tree shots you need youtr front brakes so you can roll down in them and not kill yourself.
  20. Tell me what sand you are running in that thing please. I bought one the other day but the sand I have tired is to fine and dont do shit or to course and does not feed at all???????????
  21. Holy shit getting a little wound up in htis thread I see. The hugh sigs are a little annoying but damn boys.
  22. They are hollow and if you can weld at all it is no big deal to extend one. LIke was said above put a slug in it and you will be fine. I have cut and welded them before.
  23. If your crank is that loose I guess you should ask yourself if it is worth loosing a bearing and destroying the bottom of your motor. I would say that it is time to tear it down and make sure it is in good shape.
  24. So does anyone besides Snop and myself have any actual reservatinos made yet for this reide??? Hoping we get a really good turn out!
  25. I have a 4 miill that is 73 horse and ride the Oregon dunes and our favorite thing is doing tree shots and making our own shots. I have a 5 over arm with 21 inch 10 paddle extreme's. I am getting ready to put a cub on it and plan on running the same paddles. I think most peoples biggest problem is going with to much paddle. I see people out there all the time with 12 paddle's on and they take lots of power to turn and if you have the power to turn them and they hook up in a tree shot you are going to be on your ass. I think you are going to be unhappy with that 8 over arm that is going to be a bitch in the trails and just make it harder to turn around if you get down in a tight tree shot. just my two sense.
