X2 on what 06 said. You are kind of pissing in the wind putting bigger carbs on that motor. Get yourself a cool head and a timing plate if you are looking for some cheap easy hp. You money is better spent on thoset hings than it is on bigger carbs

I was running 340 mains at sea level when I went ther last summer and I dropped one jet size and then ended up dropping my needle one spot while I was there and mine ran great.

Yes we are there all the time but I just found out last night that we did not get the spots for Memorial that we thought we were going to so we will not be there. We are going to Winchester the following weekend for 3 day.

I would agree with Coup. I think for the riding you want to do a 421 is going to be the wrong kind of setup. My stock dune ported 4 mill motor was awesome for that kind of riding.

Did you pull the slides out of the carbs when you did the reeds? If you did you may have got them in backwards? Did you unplug anything or just pull the carbs out of the way and do the reeds?

Ok I know Snop is not willing to go to Florence and as much crap as I give him he is a really nice guy and I would like to get a chance to ride with him more but I am still going to vote Florence lol. I think we are on vacation for a week in Aug if I remember but I will check with the boss lady and find out for sure. If we are not on vacation then that time would work fine for me.

Ok so dune fest is Aug 3rd throught the 7th and sand fest is June 29th through July 3rd so I guess that is a good idea of the events coming up that we would need to plan around.

I dont think I would have a problem with that weekend. If people would post up dates that would work for them then we could do a poll and see what date would get the most people over there.

LOL it was just a suggestion that is not where we have got to go. I just hate camping in a parking lot and not a big fan of the horsfall end of Coos.

I cant take a week off work for a hq ride sorry lol. I could take a Friday off and leave work early enough on Thursday to get over there in time to ride Thursday evening through a Sunday.

Well fathers day would be awesome but there is no way I can do that weekend my kids would not be happy with me. What about like the weekend of Jul;y 22-24 we could do it at Florence and I am sure if I got in touch with dunes frontier that they would set aside a block of camp sites for us to use?

Why not make it in Oregon where we have real sand dunes? Get your group together and make a road trip this way.

Well fellas the HQ ride was kind of a fail becasue of the weather. I would like to start getting some thoughts from all of you on a time later in the year when we have a better chance of some good weather so we could setup another ride and try to really get a good showing. I know we have lots of things coming up here in Oregon with Raptor Rally dune fest and sand fest plus all the holidays coming up so lets see if we can come up with some times that may work for more people later in the summer then we could start a poll and see when we could get the most HQ members to show up. Post up what you guys think.
