  1. shoot me a pm with paypal info......i'll take it..
  2. do a compression test......you might have leaned out and melted the pistons, and then it will act like it's rich...
  3. sounds like condensation......pull the choke when it happens and it should come back down to idle......it will load-up, so you have to keep turning the choke on-off untill it gets hot enough in and around the carbs for it to work it out. then, check the jetting and adjustments. perhaps, you should pick up some power jets for that thing.....
  4. why not? go do some plug chops, then tear it up bra
  5. ......and what brand stator/flywheel/coil did you use?
  6. the things to look at are carb sync, misfire-like pickup gap/flywheel, and compression imballance. if the porting specs don't match, or chamber size/squish is off, it'll throw out a pretty good vibration, especially free-reving...
  7. are you running 8's? that actually sounds like too cold of a plug
  8. damn, i guess he's not listing them right now......mabey you can contact him......here is the guy.... jet kit guy
  9. a bit of vaseline, or premix oil on the o-ring and washer will help it turn easier. if you are running an aftermarket cdi, use the black/white wire to attatch, instead of the coil. a good spot to connect is where the tors controll box plugs in under the gas tank....
  10. haha, i could buy a new bike for how much that would cost, lol, well, mabey a crappy one........would be nice to bring ridders up, though.... well, 90% of it is trying to find that hill, lol. mostly trails of all kinds. you talkin about jeremy? he bought a yfz450 last year, and military...lives in palmer, last i heard. i've been to kincaid a few times, but anymore, you only get like 2 days a week where you can actually ride, and it's all dirtbike, from what i've seen. just hit me up when you get ready mike, or even if you want a hand with her...
  11. there is a "jet kit" on ebay for 30 bucks...it has every size from 210-390....
  12. airleak, floats, pickup gap?
  13. i also noticed no one mentioned it running away from an airleak. that is also common, and has happened to me. it will get hot and "deisel" like wot, so no killswitch, key, or plug wire to shut it down.........amazed how quick and calmly i simply shifted to a high gear and let the clutch out while holding the foot brake locked up to shut her down. tightened the loose clamp, and went on my way......won't forget that one, lol
  14. well, what tire selection are you lookin at? if you go 10", you can more readily find some realtors in 22's, which will be an awesome tire. i went through hell trying to get some, but went back to the bear claws, since it was always a shit ton to get them up here.....
  15. yo, just lookin for more people to ride with. i live in anchorage, and work in red dog 3-3. the guy i usually ride with works the slope and other places alot, so it's hard to schedule in a ride. hit me up if you wanna hit the trails. jim creek is banshee-friendly all year, so i go there a bit. just don't like goin it alone, or waiting on utes, since i can get a little crazy sometimes with my hill climbing addiction, lol. i'm here daily, too.....
  16. the 28's should be perfect in the trails, if your whole setup matches. the single carb thing is mostly a myth. actually, you can get the stock carbs to 30 to out perform any single on the top AND bottom, if you just tune them right.
  17. yah, buy the pipes and silencers together........if you buy them used, the chambers and silencers should and almost always come as a set. don't forget to change the jetting for any intake or exhaust change, no matter how small.....
  18. well, you do need to go up 2-3 sizes on the main, so i would start there, and give it a good cleaning while you are in there. make sure to get the pilot passageways. definately do a compression check, and look for oil separation in the cold. one thing you can do to rule that out, is drain it all in a warm place, shake it up good, and keep it warm and put it in when you are ready to start it up
  19. x2 on the website down the sleeve........still gonna do the black/yellow, and yellow/white?
  20. what kind of pipes are you running what size tires? perhaps you can have a different shock link made for the swinger you have, too when you put it on.....i would recomend running pro-circuit pipes. not sure on the cost, but there is also different pto gearing options.
  21. is it a synthetic or conventional filter?
  22. it is verry probable that an o-ring slipped out upon installation.....i would check for signs of coolant leak in the cylinders
  23. wow, that is so backwards sounding....
