  1. how about the cylinders? stock virgins?
  2. check your meter by touching the leads together.......
  3. you need all the stator wires, except yellow. keep all the black wires, except where it goes to pigtails that you won't use. you can trim all the stuff off the black/white wire, just a strait connection to the killswitch. the orange coil wire is needed, and the red/black wire needs to be grounded to black.
  4. what size are they anyways? that's the main question nobody has answered yet
  5. lol, that's not exactly what i meant.....i was just reffering to the fact that they had already been tested in the real world and are now in the sales stage. i'm stuck between choosing 3 different projects right now. the servals, turbo setup, or my current low-end build i got going on.....i gotta pick one, lol.
  6. hey, dibs jive turkey
  7. so, it didn't come with the plug caps? i would try unscrewing the caps ans swaping those, or better yet, ohm them out. there just a brittle core inside, and can break
  8. i think you mean WINNING
  9. just try out different combos. you may like the top-end feel of +2 to -3, or you might want a bit more midrange with +3-+7. just remember, the closer you are to the limits of the octane fuel you are running, the more timing advance is likely to cause detonation and/or pre-ignition...
  10. no fair......i can't afford to run down to the dunes state side just to hit a specific dyno....
  11. so, how much will you do for just the head pipes? can you show me pics, or link to the thread?
  12. ouch, looks like it snagged on a couple ports........did the cylinders fare good? need re-plating?
  13. hot rods just use o-rings instead of pins
  14. those plugs are a must.......
  15. most likely be 22, or 23cc blaster domes....mabey even 24cc
  16. it says $100 in the title........definate steal at that price...
  17. well, it's the same thing, with your blaster.....i know you can lug a blaster down like a 4stroke with the stock pipe (not 4stroke power lugged down, but still possible) throw a top-end pipe on there, and you loose some of that. you can also choose a low-end woods pipe, like ptr mis, tr-6 fmf gnarley, fmf gold, signiature series torque pipes, but the most fun is the pro-circuit platinums, which have an insane, and wide mid powerband that comes on low, and revs up. there is a tremendous amount more potential to make a monster out of a banshee.......the 2 things that bugged me about the blaster, was lack of power, and aleways ending up on my ass when it would buck. i shred the old blaster in the woods, now
  18. maybe switch to a full synthetic oil? that could be what is attracting them
  19. you can even run 2 stiff springs, too. make sure the cable is lubed good, as well....that makes a world of difference
  20. that's in degrees rotation, not area.........stereotypically, that would be a nice, and somewhat broad mid-range job with some top, but the time/area of them puts it as being able to make peak over 10k. basically, looking like a stock cylinder capabilities (profile, not output) similar to 194+/ 136+ , but still possesses the low-end, if you follow what i'm saying
  21. that is correct, the pto bearing is usually nippled, not pinned
  22. what all is new since it ran good? was it the same setup exactly before? i tend to think the reed spacers could be the problem. i would generally suggest putting them on the other side of the reeds, but one of the vforce reed setups have the cage and flange separate, and the spacers only hold the cage by the corners, just barely, and could eat them loose. i would see if you can get the carbs on without the spacers, or if you can possibly run smaller spacers. top-end missing is also a known problem with higher output stators, and all models ricky stator/ricks stator. rpm specific misses are also spark related, like plug caps/wires
  23. well, that would all fall on the builder.......he should be able to tell you a range you will be in. when you mention builder, i'm going to assume it will be a good port job in the 65-85hp range. dune port? why 19cc domes? you will need over 100oct. on those..
  24. jeff, are you looking at that in terms of time/area, or degrees rotation on the porting?
