  6. big carbs wouldnt help a stock motor, but he said it was ported. so yes, get bigger carbs. and why does high altitude negate the benefit of bigger carbs?
  7. air leak or exhaust leak maybe. or like lokisbuddy said, you could have a snake laying on top of the motor and he gets pretty upset when it gets hot.

  10. like everybody else said, do a plug test and see what they look like. dallasgdub explained it pretty well. prolly not ganna need 3 or 4 jet sizes up like blaster06 said hahaha!
  11. if you want all the plastic to be carbon fiber, you have to order directly from maier i believe. here is a pic of mine withe cf gas tank cover and rad cover. 2001stroker has the same fender setup as me, but his frame is a cool tansparent like candy blue color. looks really good imo. search for his topic on his build.

  14. did you check for a spark on the left side? if you were only choking the left side since the choke tube wasnt connected, you may have fouled out that plug. did you change the plug after you found the choke tube problem?
  15. the full covers with lexan clutch covers are for a lockout clutch. you can buy the lexan piece from direct drive
  16. you already need a crank. the 4mill stroker crank is basically the same price as the stock stroke. if youre dead set on getting only one piston, you can get the std rod length so it uses the stock pistons. since you need a new head, you might as well get the stroker domes with the cool head.
  17. time to shell out some money. might as well go with a 4mill steup now. you already need a crank, pistons and a head. go ahead and get it ported and a noss head with stroker domes also.
