the dome size is what sets your copression. according to the site, it looks like you can go with 21's and be ok. some people run 155 to 160 on pimp gas with no detonation problems.

depends on what kinda gas you want to run and your elevation. i believe you are safe to run 93 on 150lbs of compression or less. check out noss's website to see what domes give you your desired compression.

i didnt port my jugs when i built my 4mill because i was running low on cash. i was thinking kinda like you; why go with a stock stroke crank when it costs the same to build a 4mill? i would def get it ported tho. i planned on sticking with this setup for a little while then going with a 4mill cub. of course that was before the economy went to crap and my job cut out all my OT. i know how you feel with letting buddies ride your shee. my topend blew because i let my little brother ride it. i only had it 2 days.....he sucks!

i wouldnt jump from 40 to 60 over unless the sleeves were scarred and needed it. you wont gain much performance by doing this and youll limit the number of available rebuilds you have left. take the jugs to a machine shop to mic them. theyll tell you what size bore you need.
