  1. Yea. They have decent compression but I wouldn't know what new stock shocks felt like. They held up on my +2+1 arms I had on my bike while I waited for my elkas. They have the bushing or whatever you call it on the top and bottom of the shocks where they mount as well. I can do 30 shipped for them and if you don't like them pay shipping and i'll refund your money no questions asked.
  2. Got your payment Spacers sold. Everything else is still up for sale.
  3. I guess I just wanted to justify the cool see through glass lol. I've realized I need to do a lot of maintenance before I get into other stuff. I'll be getting a long list of stuff together. Can't wait to rip on it after winter, I'll take it out a few times here but dirt tires don't get good grip on snow And you really think 20cc domes would be safe? If I remember correctly i'm at ground level
  4. Word i'll have to get that bearing then. I searched shift shaft mod with no luck though.
  5. Yea, trinity is definitely a good company, but i've heard things about there customer service and price. For instance you can get a ported 4mill cub that will run 90hp from hjr or fast for less than 2k. With that said a 400cc powervalve should be a freaking handful once you get it jetted correctly. Even though you didn't buy from them call an engine builder here on this site, you said fast, so try him. They should be able to get you pretty close to your specific jetting. Trinity can probably give you some advice too but people always say, start fat on the pilot and main, then work your way down. You have so much power you can probably afford to run it a tad bit rich just to be safe. Make sure trinity put the right domes in for pump gas, im sure you guys discussed this but you never know. Go ahead and list every mod you know you have, because if the kits all you got you'd need other mods to handle that power. Also did you buy the kit and have it shipped to you? What kind of shop did the work because even 1 thing overlooked could mean a rebuild in the near future. You can do a leakdown test to check for leaks, and get a carb sync kit off one of the builders on here for cheap. Hope we can help ya out in the long run. I worried myself over my rebuild but like you said as long as you go over everything twice it should fire right up and be good to go.
  6. I'm 99% sure there g-force because they look identical to the ones on ebay. With that said I think they are 1 and 1/8 inches thick. They are for the front and my paypal is swilli3710@aol.com. If you pay on paypal say what part your buying or send me a pm letting me know you paid just so its easier for the both of us. I can have them shipped out in a day or two. Thanks
  7. Loco what exactly do you mean by say goodbye to shifting it? And ak thanks for the advice and that link. I'll probably buy it but if you'll have the money in the week or so its all yours. I need to make sure I can hold the clutch in WHENEVER I want, because I tend to pull it in a lot. I want my clutch and bottom end to be indestructible. To be honest i'm getting everything "ready" so when I do a 4mill I won't have to buy anything except 28's instead of my 2-1. Just send my motor off and it will return a 4mill cub. I have a shift star off of a blaster so I can probably use that, but how hard is it to install the pancake bearing? I'm all for any shifting mods to make that aspect easier. Once again thanks for the advice and i'm open to any other suggestions.
  8. Sorry I have two threads, but I wasn't planning on getting pictures today. Let me know if i'm pricing things too high because I want to get rid of things, but I know this isn't ebay. Stock shocks - 35 shipped Aftermarket tie rods brand new - Cost 60 New - 30 shipped Wheel spacers 35 shipped Uni Filter - Brand New - 13 shipped.
  9. All the other pics failed to let me upload them. I think this one should do them justice. They're either in working condition or broken in my opinion. Absolutely no visible wear.
  10. Sorry dude I couldn't help it. I just know that sometimes it takes forever to get rid of a part like that...especially on a banshee forum. I have some spacers that I'm going to post in the for sale section tonight. Take a look at them and tell me if there the kind your looking for. I'll give you a hell of a deal because I don't need them and know you may not be able to trade yours.
  11. Yea I think I probably will take this off your hands. Do you mind explaining what kind of tabs you said i'd need to make? I just can't see from the pics what your referring too.
  12. Wow I must have had a major brain fart this morning. I have ptr mids and a aggressive trail port by hjr. Would be kinda crazy to run elkas and -1 swinger and all that stuff with stockers . I love the look of the lockouts so I guess I was just trying to justify the money spent lol. A new chain and sprockets might not be out of question because they are pretty old. So I could get the slider when I rebuild the rear and get a new chain. Does anyone know if any site sponsers offer full rebuild kits for the rear end? Also is it possible to get the damn pivot bolt out without destroying it or should I not count on getting it out easily?
  13. Actually now that I think about it, this should be in the non banshee related section if its for a 400.
  14. I'm looking to spend about 400-600 dollars on my banshee in the next few weeks. (christmas ) As of right now my setup is as follows 22cc domes with cool head +4 timing boyesen low-mid reeds 2-1 carb kit +2+1 arms with elka dual rates, no resi -1 swing-arm with works (need to get it set for weight) Now my question is, if I'm looking for reliability what should my next step be? I know I should have gotten and impellar by now, and I'm still be on a stock clutch / components. Is the lockout as different in quality as it is in price from just a 50-60 dollar clutch kit? I also need to get a rebuild kit for my rear swingarm since my shop was to stupid to tell me that I needed it when they put mine on. So I was wondering who sells the best kit with EVERYTHING you need? I also like the look and idea of having a 5 gallon tank so I might get one of those. Another thing that bugs me is my steering seems to vibrate a lot. Could that possibly be my tie rod ends aren't on tight enough? So basically my options are as follows, once again. rear rebuild kit 30-40 rear shock setup from works 10-100 depending on what I need Impeller - 50 Ims tank - 160 Clutch - 50 - 450 if I get the lockout. Any advice whatsoever is appreciated. I just find it hard to buy 4-5 things from one person without forgetting something or them not stocking it.
  15. What exactly do you need done? If your looking to drop some cash then send your motor to a good builder. About 200 bucks shipping but well worth it in the long run. If you just have a jetting problem or somethings not running right tell us whatsup and we can probably help you out.
  16. I have my bike setup for low-mid and the vf3's are more of a top-end reed. They are in good shape and I will get pictures of them within a day or two, just haven't been feeling well lately. Would like to get 145 shipped. They sell for 200 new so I think this is a reasonable price.
  17. mr_3_0_5 might come across as a new guy on this site since he only has around 20 posts, but he's really active on blaster forum and gave me a great deal on a works shock. I paid 135 shipped for it and it got here in about 3 days. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again.
  18. Oh yea, I was surprised when you priced out all those parts for me a while back. I know I won't find a better deal than that.
  19. Wow, i was expecting to see pictures, now im upset. Just kidding but if someone can upload these for ya that'd be sweet. Good luck on your sale i'm sure the motors a handfull.
  20. Not Necessarily. Just because a store might have a cheaper advertised price then a sponsor doesn't mean every other aspect of there business sucks. I use the sponsors 90 percent of the time other than nic nacs on ebay. Sometimes it just feels kind of cult like on the hq when it comes to other business's or builders. All you here about is people that may not have even talked to kevin herr or jeff at fast are telling people they should use him because he's a great guy. Saying that buying from sponsors is the right decision is a little odd too. I'm sure all the sponsors are making money, and to pay for there advertisement is only a fraction of what they actually make from there business. I've heard a sponsor say it before, just can't remember who...but he said you have to be open to other competitors, because thats just business and it determines who has better prices. Alf you've told me before that you could hook me up with a lockout and 3-4 other parts for 460, and when I get that money i'm going to buy em from you, but if I saw them somewhere for 350 you would understand why i'd go with the lower price, right? Sorry to keep ranting, but im pretty bored
