Yea my bad i guess I just felt like giving someone a hard time when I was on the other day. Its actually A good price. I guess what bugged me was the fact that you never know what shipping will end up being. I would rather see 200 shipped than 175 plus shipping because you never know what your going to want to ship them though. You don't find many of those pipes around but like people have said 2-1's are hard to get rid of on this site.

Your first mistake was thinking you'd turn around and make a profit on something. Most people here offer good deals to people, and not many buy things just to turn around and increase the price of it. 150 shipped is the same as 130 plus 20 dollars shipping so your not really "shipping them for free". Trying to get what you paid for them is fair, but don't be surprised if you don't get offered that much.

You would do "bissness" with him again even if you happened to see the same part advertised somewhere else for $50-$75 dollars cheaper? To be honest unless you are a stand up guy and can have good customer service your never gonna make it as a banshee anything for that matter (builder, parts distributor, polisher, pc'er...anything). Nobody said he isn't a nice guy. Even aside from the thread starters comment that may or may not be true these guys claim they modify a fiber that works without modification and claim crazy numbers that may or may not be true. I know who i'm going with for my next mod or motor work, and it definitely ain't these guys.

Welcome to the site Dmc's in my opinion are mid to top end pipes, and fattys are pretty good for anything except drag. As long as there clean most pipes are worth relatively the same amount, except for fmf's which tend to go for a little less. Like loco said make sure the bike wasn't ridden too hard. I know from experience that a trail bike is going to have a LOT more wear then a dune bike or drag bike for instance. Trails tend to tear up a bike pretty damn quick, especially when your not careful. I still don't know how I haven't had a rock destroy my case yet. I'm still in need of a skidplate.

I got a set of dual rate elkas off of ebay, set up for my weight, riding style, and type of a-arms, for about $450 if i'm not mistaken. They're on ebay and they don't even take that long to set up and have them shipped to you. Like people said why spend 300-400 on works when you can spend 450 on elkas and have way better performance. My elkas came with tools, a shirt, a bunch of stickers, and I've heard on here before that they have a serial number on them so you can always call and ask them what they're set up for (For example if you were selling them you can offer the number to anyone interested in calling elka and seeing for themself) Works doesn't offer that so I have to send my rear shock out even though it might already be set up for my weight. I'm not bashing works or saying they don't offer you a cool shirt and pretty stickers but for the $50-$75 extra dollars i'd go with elka.

You shouldn't be so critical when you yourself have 3 mistakes in two sentences. On a side note only $550 dollars for an 83-84hp port, I can't believe I went with HJR. . Just kidding but seriously there prices don't even compare to any other builder or parts distributor. $800 dollars for a 7 mill crank? $1000 dollars for a 4mill crank and a SUPER DUPER STOCK PRO-DRAG Port.

I've been looking for 25 sets of stock pipes forever now, and I finally found them! Just kidding, let us know if those ever get sold, I know you will probably only make a little bit off of them considering shipping and what not. How long have you been collecting banshees for? And more importantly, how do you keep them all safe?

My stock suspension really killed me in the woods. I'd be sweating and breathing heavy after just a little time in the woods. Then I got some dual rate elkas and i'm in the process of getting my rear works rebuilt. Suspension is definately the key before getting into the motor. Heres my setup and I really like it in the woods. My trails are pretty technical and sometimes I'll have to clutch it and give it a little bit of gas, but for the most part theres power waiting to be unleashed. Heres my setup. Aggressive trail port by hjr +4 timing and 20cc domes on high octane. +2+1 a-arms with dual rate elkas -2 swinger with works rear shock -Billet Impellar 2into1 carb really gives it that light switch effect some people are looking for. I'm sure the porting has a little to do with that as well . PTR mids I'm sure I forgot something but the main thing has to be durability. Unless you beef up the bike your gonna run into weaknesses. I put the domes in and I was glad to see my pistons were still clean and had no scratches on them. I installed the domes, clutch kit, clutch disengagement adjuster, and impellar I got from alf. The bike will roll as soon as you pull in the clutch and before you had to kinda push it. The clutch is a little harder to pull with the 3 heavy duty springs but I think i'll get used to it. The bike seems to scream and I almost pulled a 4th gear wheelie in grass with pretty old tires. I think I'm running it a little lean on the main but other than that its running great. The spark plugs were a pain in the ass to get in but is that because the domes were new? On a side note alf really hooked me up with my parts. I got about 9 parts that cost me right around $300 shipped. It would have been a pain in the ass to order from 2-3 different places but alf got me all I needed and one shipping/paypal fee.

Alright thanks guys. I wanted to be pretty sure I could run them before I put them in and had to do a comp check. I'm ready to run just gotta go to my local shop and get some gear oil and coolant and i'll be ready to run. I was wondering what you guys would do about the drain plug. I have high temp silicone and loctite handy. Would loctite be enough if I snugged the bolt up with plenty of it on there? Its not really stripped thread wise it just won't get extremely tight. I figured if that didn't work I could get a bigger bolt, but finding a bolt thats just a tad bigger than that would be pretty tough.

My mods are as follows -Aggressive trail port -ptr mids -boyesen low-mid reeds - +4 timing -billet impellar -pro design cool head (currently running 22's) -single 35mm (if I remember correctly 190 or 195 main 45 pilot and cel middle clip) May have forgotten something but I think thats it for the engine. I'm 200-400 feet above sea level and was wondering if it was safe for me to run pump gas with some new 20cc domes I bought. And If it is what octane I need to run. I also needed to know if I need to change my jetting at all to compensate for the different compression. I'm assuming no but I wanted to be sure before I put them on. Yesterday I accidentally stripped my drain plug threads out pretty bad, and need a quick fix to get my bike up and running again. I heard I can just get a bigger plug and if its only a tad bigger just thread it right in, what do you guys think works best for fixing this problem? Thanks

For instance I put the drain plug bag in today so I don't forget to do it tomorrow. 2 paper towels would of solved your problem.
