  1. 145 to 160 lb rider, +2 +1 forward A_arms. Compression and preload adjustable, no rebound adjusters.
  2. Im planning on selling my Elka shocks on Ebay this weekend. They'll sell to the highest bidder, as I don't put reserves on my auctions. The shocks are for a Banshee and they're a coupla years old. They were setup for +2 a arms and mx riding style. I put new bottom out bumpers on em and never rode with them, so the bumpers are brandy spankin' new. I'll post the URL when I list em. Here's some pictures.

  5. Im more offended by squids ridin without a helmet on.
  6. Hey folks I got a set of PRP front brake caliper adaptors. They allow you to run dual piston 250r front brake calipers with billet 400ex spindles. I don't have them listed on Ebay yet, but they will be there soon. No brake calipers, I'm just selling the billet caliper adaptors. Got any questions, just holler thanks -denny
  7. sounds like maybe your clutch plates were stuck together. If it does it again, note how long the quad has been sitting and then let her warm up really good before you take off, and work the clutch lever while your warming it up. Usually when the plates are stuck, you can shift it into first gear and it just lurches ahead and stalls, Iv never had it where it just wont go into gear tho, so you might have a different problem.
  8. take chain to bench grinder. grind off head of pin.(on both sides of the chain link) drill a hole in your workbench or on a 2x4 twice the size of the pin. lay your chain on the workbench or tubafoor and position the ground-off pin above the hole. grab the ol' punch out of the toolbox. grab the BFH out of the toolbox. proceed to drive the pin out with the punch and BFH. start all over again because you punched the wrong damn pin out
  9. Most, if not all MX tracks require you have nerf bars, all AMA sanctioned races definitly require nerf bars on your mx quad. So if your planning on doing some mx racing.... get sum nerfys.
  10. Meat

    Ball joints.

ya wow, id never run em with that much thread showing. Listen to jayzx750's advice, he's spot on.
  11. ^^^^ Yup. well said hitman. I have a -2 on mine and truely like it better than the stock length. When I bought my first banshee, the thought was "its a big quad" it felt long and heavy and wide. I rode a suzuki quadracer for 8 years before my Banshees, so thats what I was used too. The stock length banshee felt big in the woods, especially when I was in first\second gear and the trail is just alittle wider than the quad. The banshee felt too big. After the -2 swingarm, the wheelbase felt alot better for the riding I do. Plus all the other benifits that were mentioned. It was worth the time and money for my -2 and I'd do it again.
  12. I dunno, the more I think about it, the more I like the idea of the heel gaurds, especially after reading Blanco25's post  . I like those IMS\Roll heel gaurds, they're nice. Nerf bars can be deadly. MX Pro racer matt bartosek died that way. got his foot tangled in the netting, I think he was jumpin a purty big jump at the time. Boy that would suck
  13. Iv never ever had a quad with heel guards on it, Roll pegs on my Banshee and my 250r and my boots are a good ol pair of AXO's that iv had for 5 years, I love those old boots, I can't ride without having my riding boots on, it just feels unsafe without boots on. Iv been riding for along time and iv never ran over my leg, but Iv seen it happen a whole hellava lot tho  . Never seen anyone seriously injured, but iv seen a few females that were riding doubles, get thier leg sucked under spinning tires, usually pulls em off the quad and the quad come to a stop and people are yellin and screamin', usually nothing worse than some road rash and a bruised ego. If your planning on MX racing, or have a lot of big jumps where you ride, then get some nerfs or guards, but for trail riding, fuck em, scrap steel.
  14. Take em off. You have a few other options, you could put some peg extenders on the end of your pegs, they help keep your feet on the pegs. You could also weld two footpegs together side by side to make a home-made Roll Design "double wide" footpegs. Knock on wood, cross you fingers and say a prayer to your god. Invest in a great set of riding boots too. ^^^ thats funny
  15. You don't have to retype anything. Just smile and let someone else answer the question. And your crazy man, that posts are slowing\bogging down the server. No way. Iv been sayin the same thing for years now. We coal crackers are a freindly bunch, there's a lot of misrable people out there. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=57257
  16. "A Milestone In Iraq A milestone was reached on Easter Sunday. Five years in Iraq, 4,000 Americans killed, thousands more injured, and likely more than 100,000 Iraqis killed. Vice President Dick Cheney spent Easter Sunday fishing on the Sultan of Oman's royal yacht. A reporter from ABC News told Cheney, in regards to Iraq, "two-thirds of Americans say it's not worth fighting." Cheney replied: "So?" As in "You have a problem with that?" Apparently, he can keep above the fray while negotiating more weaponry to Oman in exchange for bases."
  17. Plan on getting muddy. Its pretty nasty out there. coal hill aint bad, but everywhere else is. local weather http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USPA0300_f.html
  18. Nathan i seen your pictures in dirtwheels and I recoginzed the name right away, your old ATC picture was cool too. I'll be out on the 28th in my Jeep, all my quads are incompacitated at the moment
  19. are you a BansheeHQ forum sponsor ?
  20. Honda and suzuki z400 shocks are interchangable with no modification to the upper shock mount. So If your going to put them on a Yamaha, I'm thinking they are going to be too thick to fit in your upper shock mounts on your frame. Let us know if they bolt up or not.
  21. For what its worth..... Yamaha and Honda shocks have the same thickness bottom shock mount, but the Honda shocks are thinner on the top mount compared to a Yamaha shock. Elka shocks use removable bushings in the top mounts of thier shocks so you can use the bushings for a Yamaha quad or remove the bushings and the shocks should fit in a Honda frame.
  22. thats cool man. Support the BHQ. I was a premium member last year but it ran out, i was just trying to re-sign back up a few days ago and I could not get the link to work, it took me to a page where it tole me the yearly price was $30, but I couldnt sign up for the life of me. I'll have to re-sign up tho asap.
  23. the razr2' are heavier too, they are rotating mass and that just makes the extra weight even worse. The Razr2 also have a deeper, more aggressive lugs and that should make em a little less harder to slide around on. The aggressive heavy Razr2's prolly work better on a high HP, tire-spinning Banshee power, so I'll give em that. I'd get the standard 6 ply Razrs.
  24. Get the right length shock, make sure it fits into your frame and A-arm mounts and then get the shocks re-valved for you and your bike. It doesnt matter what make or model you pull the shocks from, as long as they are the right lenght and they fit your frame&arms.
  25. Just a thought. Selling products on BansheeHQ and not giving a little back to Lee. IMO you should become a Premium Member if your going to profit off the forum. Anyone agree ??
