  1. I raced a hare scramble last summer with chris borich and matt smiley on the track. smiley was on a predator and chris on is Alba 450r. Borich was the fastest guy on the track that day. He passed me like three fuckin times. Tryin to keep up to him was a joke. that was the last time ive raced. Im pittin' for a team that races the 6hr and 12 "atv of america" series. We won a buncha races. Im too old and tooooo damn slow to be racin quads...
  2. Sredish its always good to see you at the bansheehq. traci cecco and angle atwell are tied for first place with 169 points each. Looks like lexy coulter is in fouth place overall. the race for the championship is gunna be great. Traci has the experience tho... traci bent up her brake pedal at last weeks somerset race, she placed 5th in the class. If she doesnt break the quad, she'll win every race. Not taking anything away from angle atwell, but IMO traci's clearly the fastest girl out there. I love that Borich took back the points lead. There's only four more rounds in the 2007 GNCC schedule. The next GNCC is @ Unadilla in New Berlin NY. Saturday Sept 15th. I'll get some pictures for yas. Womens Class Point Standings
  3. me and two buddies had plans to goto somerset for this last race, but things fell apart and we couldnt go, so now the new plan is make it up to Unadilla on the 15th.
  4. chris borich win the overall !!!! chris bithel takes second and bill Ballance takes third place. The win put Chris Borich back ahead of Bill Ballance in the points race by three points. way to go chris
  5. Ballance Resumes the Chase for History as Can-Am GNCC Series Heads to Pennsylvania Ninth round of the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country series visits Pennsylvania on September 1 & 2. Top locals invited to compete against the nation
  6. Steelers are my team. Big Ben started out shaky last sunday night, but finished up the half pretty damn good. 247 yards passing in the first half.
  7. fuckin' asshole talking to other people like that. I'd highly recommend staying away and not buying stuff from people like this new guy. Totally inapropriate thing to say to someone. He didnt even apologize yet. ps, those rear tires on your blaster need about 20 more psi in em.
  8. your on the right track, its either the cam chain tensioner or the chain is worn out. You could have also brought this on when you adjusted the valves. Are you sure you adjusted the valves correctly and to the right specs ? Take the cam chain tensioner apart and see if the spring is working.
  9. lets see some pictures !!
  10. iv been using a pump system and it works great. Its a gallon can of brake fluid with a pump installed in the cap. Its attached to the bleeder valve and forces fluid up the lines and into the ressy. Gets every little bubble out. Iv used a mityvac for along time and it got the job done, but never could get that factory brake feel with it. The reverse bleed\pump system gives factory brake feel everytime and its simple to do. The first time I tried the pumper system I was bleeding the front brakes on myRz. I was pressing too hard on the pumper and when the fluid reached the brake ressy it shot 3 feet in the air, a brake fluid gyser, and of course I got covered with DOT 4.
  11. are you still making radiator scoops for the 250r ??
  12. whats the eye to eye length ?
  13. The guy who builds these 6 and 12hr racing quads is one of our riders' fathers. Dave is the rider, Skip is his dad. Skip builds these quads rock solid, he makes my job easy cause we only have small minor problems to fix during the races. Well me and Skip both agreed that the new aftermarket ECU was a bad idea. Three reasons why... 1. It was largly untested, they got the ECU too close to the race date and they didnt put much time on it. All three riders said that the new ECU really woke up the quad and they were pullin' power wheelies and toppin' the quad out at 75mph. 2. The power gains could be offset by loss of reliability. Specifically the drive shaft, and rear axles. Our first King Quad would snap rear axles all the damn time, Suzuki fixed the axle problems in 2006 and we havent snapped an axle with our '06 and '07 quads. But this quad we raced on Saturday is the same quad we race in the Texas 12hr and the NH 6hr, there were alot of miles on these axles. I was counting on the increased HP from the new ECU to snap an axle. 3. The new ECU made the quad really hard to start. The engine would turn over for 3 or 4 seconds before it would fire, and when my cuz started up the quad in the pits before the race, it let out a big backfire. These races are won by having a rock solid quad to ride, nothing can go wrong mechanically.... that damn aftmkt ECU bit us this time. We got the ECU for free in a sponsorship deal. I don't even remember the companies name, I was too bummed out that they wanted to use it, so I can't remember the brand name on the part. We used a PowerCommander module in the past and that thing worked great. We could upload different fi map with a laptap computer. The PowerCommander worked with the stock ECU. The three riders on the team did a great job trying to catch up the 1st place guys, but we just ran out of time. All we needed was for them to break down, or wreck.. but they just kept pumpin' out the laps. We did the same amount of laps as the 1st place team, we were just 5 minutes behind em at the end. Had another great time tho. If you ever get the chance to see one of these races, dont miss the opportunity.
  14. Race notes: We got second place. 5 minutes behind 1st place. We did 21 or 22 laps. We finished the whole 6 hours of racing. Had 4 Utility teams racing. It was the largest turnout for any 6hr event, there were 38 teams racing. The winning ute team was racing a new Yamaha Grizzle with the power steering. I put over 400 miles on the jeep. Trip up to the track was just shy of 4 hours long. The race was held at Thunder Ridge MX park, and Unidilla was only a 1\2 mile away. Central NY state is pretty damn nice country. We're coming back up to spectate the Unidalla GNCC in mid September. My cousin Lance had the fastest laps at 16:30 at his fastest and on average 16:50. Had only one problem, the aftermarket ECU was garbage and we replaced it with the stock unit after the very first lap. It completely died on the first lap and my cousin had to limp the quad back to the pits because of the ECU. Its along story, but we didnt get a good start because of the ECU and the first lap we lost nearly half of a lap because the ECU went into a "safe mode" and Lance couldnt get it past 1\4 throttle. We were prepared to swap out the ECU, so when he got back to the pits, we ripped the ECU out and put in the stock one, the whole swap took about a minute. So right from the very start we were WAY back in last place in our class. We raced good and smart and got back into second place, but couldnt reel in the guys on the Grizzly.
  15. Thanks man. After 6 hr of racing we won the NH race by only a half a lap and after 12 hrs in Texas we only won by one lap, so we'll take all the luck we can get. http://www.tpcpowercenter.com/
  16. Ben we usually have alteast 2 mishaps per race, sometime more. The pits are pretty busy for the whole solid 6 hours, if we're not fixing a broken quad, we're keepin lap times, video taping, discussing strategies, helpin our racers in the pits, preparing for anything. We keep busy, 6 hrs goes by REALLY quick and the pit guys are tired at the end of the day. 12 hour races are really crazy. DaleGoldson hung out in our pits at the Texas 12 hour and JKJK bros and Banchetta hung out for a little at the NH race last year. We had the KingQuads frame gusseted for this race. they broke the frame in half at the Texas 12 hour, the belly skid and lower frame rails held the quad together till the end of the race.
  17. I'll be in South Edmeston, NY on Saturday August 11th. Our team will be racing round 4 of John Pellan's "6hr's of ATV America" series. We won the New Hampshire 6 hr in 2006 and we're lookin' to win again on the 11th. We'll be racing in the "utility expert" class, I'll be one of three pit guys. One of our riders, George, broke his collerbone a few days ago racing a harescramble at Rausch Creek so we will have a new rider on the team, bob o'brick on the team. Bob has raced a highly modded KFX700 in the GNCC's for the past two years, so he's has alot of hardcore racing experience. We're sponsored by TPC Powercenter in Bloomsburg Pa and our team name is "TPC Powercenter". We're racing a 2007 Suzuki King Quad. If anyone is in the area and would like to try this unique style of ATV racing, check out http://www.6hoursofatvamerica.com/ for all the info. Or just come by and introduce yourself, i'll be working all day long in the pit.
  18. yes, yes I do.  nothin worse than a flip flop wearin' dirtfoot.
  19. IMO the hot setup for aggressive, fast trail riding are the original Razr rear tires and Razr II's up front.
  20. Fuck those Ricky Stators. I had one and it was a POS, nothing but trouble from day one. I took it off and put a stocker back on and never looked back. I hear they import all thier stators. Junk. Ya hear this Mr. R Stator !!??
  21. haha.... ya its actually quite normal.... and well documented. Listen to dajogejr's advice.
  22. your float is out of spec on the dead side. your flooding the left side of the engine. take the carbs back off and check em
  23. 32:1 will make your engine run leaner than a 40:1 mix. Don't confuse fuel ratios with air\fuel ratios.
  24. do a compression test and report back. and for the record... ricky stators suck !! they once had a good name in the industry, now they don't. ya hear this Ricky ?? stop importing garbage and get back to quality.
  25. turn on = female guitar or piano players
