I like my 125 also. The 250 4strokers are nice but Im a 2stroke guy. Most of these guys are right about ridding a 125. They are more of a pin it and clutch it. The 250 you can ride more with the throttle. I have a YZ125 and love the power it has. I think its alot more linear and usable then the other 125's out there. The 250 is a smoking deal though. Also if you get the 250 get a slipper clutch for it. Especially if your use to 2strokes you are going to want the slipper clutch. I guess my thing is half the fun of owning dirt bikes and quads is working on them and moding them so I like my 2strokes more

Hey man carbs are not hard to clean out. Get yourself a manual and ask us here for some help and you can do it. It will save you a TON of money

Dude listen to us. Get a new filter NOW. Dont try and tape it or super glue it. The motor has probably been runninglean now for a while and god nows what kind of shit has gotten into the motor. So first GET A NEW AIR FILTER. Spend the little bit of money and buy a kit so you know you have a good tight fitting air filter. Next, tear open your carbs and clean them out. Then get a compression checker and do a compression check on the motor. If the compression check comes back good move on to the next thing, if not tear open the motor. Then look down your intakes and see if you see any gunk. If you do you will want to tear open the motor and clean it all out.

I think for the piston dome it's -6.5cc. You are changing everything to inches also right?

They are 24cc because they are stroker domes I'm pretty sure. I remember Kevin from Herr Jugs saying 24cc domes when I asked about a stroker motor. Elwilliams13 said he had 185 psi with 21cc domes
