  1. Hey Guys. Up for sale is a 2012 YFZ 450R. Quad was bought brand new in 2012. It has around 10 hours on it. Most of that time was spent riding around the house. This is the aluminum frame, fuel injected, MX quad. The thing is in excellent shape. My brother bought this thing and pretty much parked it. Now he has a kid and just doesnt have time to ride. PRICE: 5999 OBO LOCATION: Souderton, PA 18964 CONTACT: PM Here, [email protected], (215) 723-5866, (267) 421-4736
  2. For giggles throw the block off in and see if it changes. So if you stick your fingers in the exhaust port and push up on the power valve it's even with the roof of the exhaust port?
  3. When the pvs are open all the way do they clear the entire exhaust port? I know on my 472 cheetah the pvs would still be in the exhaust port some and it would act like what you descibe. I had to cut them to match the exhaust port when they were open
  4. What issues are you having that you think you need the flywheel weight? I had the same motor combo as you and about the same weight as you and I was running 15/41 gearing. I ride some very tight trails and I never had any problems with the tight stuff.
  5. Do you have any idea what the piston dome volume is? Is your piston coming out of the cylinder? I might be wrong but your numbers just seem off. Once again, could be wrong but I thought a banshee piston had a dome volume of like 2.5cc or something like that.
  6. Airstrikers are great carbs once tuned right.
  7. Airstrikers like much leaner jetting then regular PWKs. First, find what pilot you are running. If the air screw isn't doing anything then you are running the wrong pilot. Second, that main is way too big. You should be more like 158 to 165. You need to do a plug chop to confirm though
  8. If you do some research trinity is known for having crappy domes. That's why that motor ran like crap.
  9. I just bought the +3+1 fireball long travel arms and the elka stage 3 shocks to match. The shocks I got are 19 1/4" eye to eye. Still working on setting everything up but cant wait to test it out.
  10. Thanks. Maybe I should have phrased the question different. Can some of the mx/xc guys tell me what they are running for ride height?
  11. Hey guys. Just looking for some opinions on what everyone runs for ride height. I just got Elka 3s all around and trying to setthe ride height. I ride mostly mx and xc. Thanks
  12. Lsr has a really good how to on setting up your adjustable arms
  13. ragun, are you going to be running the standard 3/2 offset rims or going to 4/1 offset rims with the +3 arms?
  14. I noticed a big difference going from stock banshee calipers to yfz calipers. They had a much smoother feel and it stopped sooner with less lock up. I highly recommend the swap. I just bought calipers and a master cylinder for about 100 off of ebay.
  15. You can buy flywheel weights. Is there a reason you want a heavier flywheel? From your sig it sounds like you would want to go stock or lighter
  16. Cool. Thanks. Will do
  17. Looking to see if any sponsors sell the dominator 2 axles. If so, let me know. Would rather give a sponsor on here my money then to a non sponsor. Thanks
  18. Holy crap! I actually won something! Woohoo! Thanks to Bill and Tyler.
  19. What shocks were you using for the a arms? Do you know what size they were?
  20. Do you know what brand that swinger is? Is it chromoly or steel?
  21. I had a no name compression checker and it read about 15 psi compared to my craftsman one. Its best to do a compression check when you first rebuild so you have a baseline to read.
  22. Im in. Never win any but wth
  23. Some cpi or shearers would make a difference. I havent riden in sand before so I dont know about gearing for sand but I had no problem pulling a 15 tooth front with a pretty much stock bbike :
  24. Those look like the dowels for the gas tank
