A friend of mine in Chicago has an '01 Raptor and it blew the tranny again. First time was second gear and now fourth gear is gone. I just heard from him yesterday after not talking in a while so the tranny was news to me. After looking into it the '01s are plagued with tranny issues from faulty shift hubs to poor main shaft gears. Beware of them is all I am saying.

I always buy or make a short breather tube anyway.

Yeah...the Raptor is a work of art (for a four stroke) and can flat out run. I would consider buying one as a second quad if I ever sell of my MXers.

I will prolly buy that exhaust.

Every post on here is right. Said it yourself, ran good before you put this on. Has to be something simple. Check the ground is where I would start. The plugs will be wet if no fire is produced. Dry them off and leave them out and kick it over instead with them out and see if they spark at all after you check all the connections from the harness. You either plugged something in wrong, or you are not grounded.

They were fast. Seen one out at Badlands before and it was a rooster tailing screamer.

Its a Canadian Ebay ad. Aren't those things still shipped to Canada? If they are that add is probably real. I thought you could still buy Banshees new in Canook land.

I went through a divorce a few years back. It sucks. Not much more to ad to what has been said. If it has tits or wheels chances are good it will give you trouble.

Also I would seriously check the cooling temps on that thing. 20 minutes just happens to be when the rig is at full operating temperature. Might have some coolant issues, which poor timing can also cause if the curve is advanced too far.
