  1. ethanol in banshee isnt going to hurt it one bit. generally ethanol has a higher octane rating all though is dumbed down when mixed with regular gas. ethanol in boats is a little diffrent not because of motor but because of the high high moisture content in close prox. to the boat motors the ethanol mixes with moisture and can turn into some sort of jell...while its not a thick sticky jell its just not good. but i ran ethanol gas in my boat for the last 2 years without any problems so again im not worried.
  2. i used a cutoff wheel, you can make it nice and smooth if you cut it right. take your time. take your time and take your time if you go that route. or just buy one.
  3. stock carbs, 310 mains, 25 pilots.
  4. might try pbnation.com forum, ton of people there... i did paintball pretty heavily back in the days, i was the head ref for a place called swat indoorpaintball in tulsa for 2 years, was my second job anyways. would start at 5:00 and end at 12:00 every night. saturday would start at 7:30 and go in to 2:00 in the morning. i got completely out of PB cause i was sick of little kids and highschool kids...=\
  5. my bad, was looking for tri-cycles ealier for my co-worker. guess i got cycles on the mind...
  6. id say post some pictures so we can identify the carbs. then do a compression test make sure both cyclenders are making good compression. then check spark out of both sides then pull carb bottoms and clean out carbs.
  7. 1000 sounds to good to be true to me. id have to wait and see detailed pics before id decide..
  8. you should have baught larger jets since your getting pods. my set up pods, adjustible timing plate, v-force 3, t-6's, running stock pilot(25) and 320 mains, bike runs good at all levels of throttle
  9. i would start out by going to 32:1 or 36:1 on your mix thats for damn sure. being bored over doesnt really matter. jetting will always be the same if you .10 to .100 over from what iv heard. what current jets are on the bike? what kind of air filter are you running?
  10. Flywheel tool at F.A.S.T. bonus is its only $12 youll have to call or PM FASTOYS to order aswell, there is no way to purchase through the website.
  11. i recommend plus +4 i ment Plus 4 when i made the photo correct photo
  12. my 2 stroke outboard boat only goes to like 5000 rpm, plus it has a constant supply of fresh mostly cold water 2 diffrent motors, being 2 stroke is the only thing they have in common.
  13. How to install an Adjustible timing plate. Tools needed: Cresent Wrench, Wrenchs, Sockets, Wrachet,Impact, Impact screw driver and #2 screw driver, Adjustible strap wrench. Flywheel puller DO NOT USE A 3 JAW PULLER EVER. OR ANY OTHER DEVICE BESIDES WHAT IS RECOMMENED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remove: Taking off the foot peg and nerf bar will be required. Aswell as the shifter then remove all 7 bolts holding the left side case on Remove: The nut holding the flywheel on with the impact you may or may not need the hold the flywheel with a strap wrench or your hand Remove: The Flywheel its self now. You need the flywheel puller. if you have the correct tool for this job the entire job will take you no more then 30 minutes. You need to clean all the threads on the flywheel and puller as best you can with a soft brush of some sort if you can. then apply grease to the threads on the puller and the fly wheel aswell as the tip of the crank shaft where the puller will be pushing on it. So now attempt to thread the flywheel puller on but remember it is reverse threaded. so spin it on counter-clock-wise. untill snug then with a cresent snug it on a little better if possible. hold the flywheel puller with the cresent wrench and use the impact to pull the flywheel off. when the fly wheel pops off the key generally falls into the magnetic part of the inside. Loosen: Loosen the 3 screws holding the stator to the timing plate, then loosen the 3 screw holding the timing plate to the case. Remove: The 3 bolts holding the stators on now then remove the 3 bolts holding the timing plate on, there will be two small bolts the wires on the back remove those also of course. then grab your new timing plate and reverse everything youve done up to this point. locktite all 6 screws back in and adjust your timing plate to the crack in the case for the timing line. NOTE: Most people recommend +4 Timing as do I Install: The flywheel back on. put the key back into the spot where it came and put the flywheel back on carefully. press it on as best you can then use the impact and tighten the bolt back on which will tighten the flywheel into place. You will need to set the timing gap so rotate the flywheel to the raise notch and adjust the pick-up to about a buisness cards thickness between the notch and pick up or .016-.020 Install: Now your pretty much done. put the case back on and the foot peg and kick it over make sure it starts and runs good sounds good and your pretty much done, take the peg off put the shifter on and put everything back together and go have fun! the job should have taken between 15-45 minutes depending on your skill. Well I Hope this helps some people. its an easy job. Alot easier then it sounds and people make it out to be harder. PLEASE PLEASE Contact jeff( FASTOYS ) at FARM AND SAND TOYS for the flywheel remover and adjustible timing plates. or PM
  14. i was always told no longer then 40-50 seconds at WOT. talked with a guy that rebuilds motors offton and he was always telling me that his number 1 reason for a rebuild, someone just had it pinned at WOT to long...
  15. im in OK my elevation is at 900, stock carbs right now with K&N Pods and V3 reeds, T6's, i run 320 mains and 25 pilots
  16. well make sure you got the key and kill switch turned on then turn the fuel on, then check to see if its acually getting spark. try to shock your self to be sure. then make sure its getting air, might pull the filter off to make sure its breathing good enough. make sure the carbs have fuel in the bowls, by unscrewing the screw at the bottom to see if they drain. if that doesnt get it to start try cleanning the carbs out maybe you got a jet clogged, check compression too...you need atleast 100 to run any good.
