  2. sorry about the spot on on the pilot, if u are bogging i would try raising the clip up a notch or two on the needle and put a 270 main in. raising the clip (which will lower the needle) will lean the bike out some, but will probably fix the bogging, also switch the main out for a 270 or 280 so your top end will not be lean.. ..
  3. sounds like you pilot jet and air screw are spot on. but a 240 main seems very lean to me.. you should be around a 270 or 280.. just my .02
  4. i have heard use a matchbook.. just tear te cover off of a matchbook (u know the free ones u get) and the thickness of the cover is about right.. just what i have heard

  6. pipes, stingsers, and silencers, the only thing u will need is the rubber conector between the pipes and stingers, the orings in the head pipes are still in great shape.. let me know.. gonna ebay them for more if no one wants them..

  11. i have a nice set of chrome toomey t6's for sale, just laying around in my shop. will take 350 shipped for them.. thats cheap go price them.. also have a set of cases with the tranny, shift drum, forks and all in them (no crank or clutch basket of kick starter) for 300 shipped. i can also powdercoat the cases any color for a little extra doe.. let me know..

  14. i would use a wiseco, they are the best in my opinion, pro x seem to be ok, never ran them but my buddy does, i would stay away from vitos, have seen a lot of them go bad (broken skirts)
  15. i would replace the bearing.. if u have the extra doe get a tz or something better than stock.. at least put a new one on there.. should fix your problem.. anything can go or be bad wether it is new or used..
  16. why u guys picking on me and my inline coolers?? lol. i will agree that they make a very minimal difference, just stay away from the mod quad impeller.. i put a new one in my cub motor and after 10 hours of ride time the shaft was grroved real bad and leaked coolant in my motor.. they are junk, stick with a pro design, they are proven to last, i think that the modquad has an aluminum shaft unlike the stainless that pro design uses..

  18. hey every little bit helps when u are fighting heat, i know they are close to worthless but i am sure they shed some heat.. plus they are fairly chap on ebay anymore.. just a suggestion..
  19. i think with a stock head they have around 118-125 range when they are new.. rule of thumb is anything under 100 is not good. i have seen many run for a long time with 90 , but it just depends on oil and ratio, jetting, blah blah blah. get what i am saying? hope this helps. i usually run them untill the power drops, or they get hard to start, then bore it and enjoy
  20. i would suggest 2 inline coolers, pro design (not modquad,they are junk) impeller, some water wetter or ice, and the aluminum radiator.. i run all the above on my 392 cub motor and it runs right around 200 in the summer.. if it where a stock radiator i would say it would run hot.. you could put a bigger main jet in the carbs, that would help get the temp down but would kill some power.. its a bitch when u start putting a lot of money in these bikes.. u have a big ass hot motor, i would spend the extra money to protect it.. so i will say yes.. get it..
