  1. anyone else??? any pics?
  2. awesome.. its almost too good to be true..
  3. i have seen them on ebay for like 200 bucks, any size and powdercoated.. not sure how good they are.. someone on here said something about a guy selling them and they are weak, his ebay user id was something like "sprees" or something.. would be a reasonable alternatve.. they are suppose to have a lifetime warranty though..
  4. hey guy i just ordered a gforce axle from rockymountain, i hope it is as good as u guys say.. i have always used durapoo axles on my bikes, just bought a shee to trail ride and it has a stocker on it. so for the money and the great warranty im gonna give it a try, im not wooried about the extra weight, i need something thats gonna be strong.. u guys with these already i am assuming u still like them??
  5. what he said, jeff at fast has a set of springs that will do reat. i had the same problem with my 33's and man it is now a 100% better.. i also got the taller adjustment screws, and the metal idle screws, if u are going to place an order get it all, replace those crappy idle screws with nice metal ones.. you will probably spend about 20 bucks or so on all of it.. if u do it, do it right.. just my .02
  6. i have a friend that has a stock banshee, only thing it has is pipes, it has a stock head, stock reeds, stock port, he runs a 13/41 gearing and beats the 450's, oh yeah his timing is bumped up +4.. so yea the 450's arent all that they are cracked up to be.
  7. i do powdercoating and have done several sets of cylinders with the regular powder, they seem to hold up very well, i also can do the engine cases, i personally have my cases coated and my cylinders are polished, these engines are liquid cooled so the heat is mainly transfered out of the engine through the coolant, i did a 400ex(which is air cooled) and no problems with overheating either, we did the head, cylinders, cases, and side covers and it looked and ran great. if u need any powdercoating give me a shout.. hope this helps
  8. hey guys, check this out.. i was planning on doing a rz conversion, i checked with zeeltronics, they have a box that will control the powervalve, you CAN run the banshee cdi, stator, harness, and coil.. you do have to modify your shee and run a battery(no big deal) the box they sell reads off of your coil wire and tailors the powervalve to your rpm, ALSO, the bos they have is programmable, so you can custom tune your powervalve/rpm curve to your needs, you can make the power real smooth, or have the powervalve slam open for a strong hit.. i checked into this about 2 months ago, the guy at zeeltronics explained it to me, i think the price was very reasonable also.. someone check into it and let me know how it works
  9. i know a guy that has a shee with a fresh crank and topend, trinity stage 4 pipes, and thats it ( no port work) besides a modded shift star, and he can beat the yfz450's but he is a fairly heavy guy, so i guess traction is not a issue, lol
  10. 2 words "HONDA RADIALS" run the honda radials, they bite like hell and are a great all around tire, just keep them off the asphalt,
  11. i heard these are bad ass.. anyone run one?? i have a bottom end with hot rods crank and tranny, also have 2 sets of unported cylinders, one is stock bore other is 20 over with pistons, all bores in excellent shape.. interested in rades?? i am not real savvy on the rz setup but have heard it is bad ass.. send me a pm if interested
  12. i agree. i have a stock stroke 68mm cub.. running inframe cpi's 33 pwks, vforce. u get the picture.. i didn;t go stroker but it does have a new trued&welded hotrods crank.. its a fukin beast, its a blst to ride, hard to handle in the woods, but its a true screamer, it seems to pull to the moon, when it snaps open it keeps going and going and going.. i had always had stock cylinders (never ported) and switched to the cub, and it took some getting use to.. it is definately lightswitch power but thats what i love about a 2 stroke anyway.. but it is amazing how these little motors run.. it has a stock tranny with a modded star and shift pro, shifting is still a chore at WOT , while i am out trail riding there is the occasional drag race (people always want to beat a banshee) well i haven't lost yet.. all in all i do like it, but it beats me up in the woods.. u definately need a strong cluth with these motors

  14. not being nosey, but would did it all cost you? topend kit, boring, and porting?? if i did go ported it would be a woods port or a dune port, i just want more power everywhere with losing bottom end, actually would want to gain more bottom and top end, not sure which port job would give me those results.. ? any info?

  16. i would say an important thing to watch is when installing the cylinder (when u slide the piston into the jug) make sure your ring gaps arewhere they should be(locater pins in the rings grooves of the piston) .. also double check your circlips to make sure they are seated, its catastrophe if one comes out.. hope this helps..
  17. the guy we have here is pretty much just into race engines for cars.. i know that 2 strokes have tighter piston/cylinder tolerances, think i should take it there?? was thinking about letting passion do them.. not sure. how much is a topend kit??
  18. ok my bike is low on psi. so i have a set of 20 over cylinders that have smooth bores but wanna get them bored to have a fresh top end.. who's the best to send it to.. looking for durability.. i see that jim at passion does it for 245.00 using wisecos and he gives you a oring kit for your head.. what u guys think?? sounds like a decent deal to me.. wonder what his turn around time is?? guess i will give hm a shout tomorrow.. any input would be great..
  19. which u think is better?? i need one, have one for sale??
  20. i need a case saver for my shee.. anyone have one for sell?
  21. man i had just built a cub motor with 33 pwk's, cpi inframes, and bll the other goodies.. right away i had shifting issues (imagine that), i put the star and shift pro in and wow, its a huge difference, smooth effortless shifting.. not as good as an overide of course but its way easy to shift.
  22. yea i always leavem out also, they are suppose to dampen the clutch chatter noise.. let me know how u like the shift pro combined with the shift star.. i did the same to mine and its awesome.. everyone likes something different though.. its definately worth the time and money
  23. hey seen in a post u mentioned livingston, its about 1.5 hours away from me., not that far.. use to ride there all the time, but its been closed now for a couple years, have u heard any news of it opening back up?? was my favorite place to roost.
