  1. your gonna need some better pipes than the pt's to run that cub.. i am assuiing a 421 cub right?? get some cpi's or better yet so shearer's..

  3. hey my frame is bent where the steering stem bolts to the fram(upper part by gas tank) also the radiator and gas tank plastic bolts do not lign up.. i klnow that these are notorious for bending at this spot.. is there a smart method to pulling it back out?? needs maybe 1/2" to 3/4" . any ideas guy?? was going to but the front of the bike to a tree and use a comalong to pull it back?? is that a dumb way to go about it?? any better solution??
  4. clean the carbs!!!!! has it sat for a long time?? it takes almost nothing to stop up a pilot jet.. take out the jets and clean and blow them out.. clean the carbs completely.. your air screw should be 1 1/2 turns out from closed .. make sure u get the choke tube hooked back up also(tube between the carbs) hope this helps
  5. well the compression was in the 90 psi range, the bore looks fantastic, was just thinking of honing and throw in some new rings.., it was running fine, just a freshen up.. couldn't be any worse than if he just kep on running the motor as it was right?? i do have a mic, just didn't have it with me the day i was over there, what should the cylinder mic at?? it is .020 over .. 64.50mm not sure what range there is to be in spec
  6. hey guys.. my buddys shee is low on compression.. it still started and ran but was hard to start and kicked over pretty dam easy.. if the cylinder walls look fine(no bad grroves or scratches) would u guys bore it or just hone and re-ring?? just trying to get riding
  7. i have seen this bike before.. jimmy thompson(t&t) had it for sale a while back.. its a nice lookin bike..
  8. zeeltronics has a fix .. they have a ox that will work with the banshee cdi, stator and flywheel,, you change your voltage regulator to a rectifier, add a battery and there powervalve control box reeds rpm off of your coil wire, and its programmable..
  9. banshee is 347cc stock.. or considered a 350.. so each cylinder is actually 175cc's a piece totaling 350.. man i wish it were a 700 though. damn!
  10. also does anyone have any of these parts for sale or know where to get them?? could the pv be set at a moderate position (manually) and be rode that way with good power throughout?? this is new to me
  11. does anyone know anything about the rz350 electronics?? i seen where some of u guys had wiring diagrams and made your own harness.. please help.. need cdi, stator, flywheel, harness and powervalve controller.. the servo is there... anyway to use stock banshee cdi or stator?
  12. so what did u do to the transfers?? make them bigger and smoother? i know that in stock form they looke pretty smalle and chokey.. there is also some aluminum material in the transfers that rest agings the sleeve, kind of a hump.. i wonder if it would be wise to smooth and thin that part down some?? did u open the exhaust port up a lot?? also how do u guys feel about rz motors?? looking at a shee with one on it but everything is not there to make the pv"s work.. it does run good though

  18. also wanted to add that if u have anewer dremel tool or are going to get one.. get the one that has the rpm adjustment.. turn that thing on a lower speed and take your time.
  19. i was thinking of using a very fine stone to smooth out (and make a little bigger) the ports (transfers, exhaust, intake.. nothing heavy as far as changing the shape of the transfers or the intake side.. not going to get into the sleeve where port timings can be altered.. just tryo to get things a little bigger and smoother.. what u think.. can it hurt?? think it will add more power basically everywhere?? just going to trails ride it.
  20. maybe i should hold off and put it on ebay or something.. that is cheap.. i get in a damn hurry though.. 850 would be a good deal for someone and i wouldn't feel like i lost too much

  23. ok guys here it is.. i have a 68mm stock stroke cub cylinder that has been professionally polished, it comes with the stud extenders, piston and rings, modquad head and big bore 20cc domes.. this is an awesome motor.. i just cant handle it in the woods (its gonna hurt me or have my ass wrapped up in a tree somewhere) it pulls so fu**ing hard up top.. it has only 5 rides on it so it is a bolt and go setup no doubt.. i will let it go for 750 shipped if someone wants it very soon.. i just got a set of stock jugs that i will be sending off to get polished, bored, and ported for woods riding.. anyone interested??
  24. i have talked with him before.. thats where my carbs came from.. also bought that stainless throttle cable. but i am thinking about the 2n1 intake.. know anything about it?
