  1. I have heard them referred to as "Bill's bottom end pipes". The builder by be swore by them. Personally I don't know though. The company went out of business and not very many people have them.
  2. I have similar mods and when i added my 33mm pwk's it was a huge difference. I would recommend them but would not go any bigger.
  3. When I painted my frame I ran a tap through all of the holes in it and I think there are only 3 different sizes (could have been one more but not sure). m6x1, m8x1.25, m10x1.25. The m6's are the fenders and stator cover and such. the m8's are the majority and the m10's like the foot peg bolts.
  4. If I got those shocks could I just get a set of dual rate springs and replace those or would that not be necessary?
  5. Is that what I want or would I be happier with a set of dual rates?
  6. Should I stay away from Works shocks? It looks like I could get a new pair of dual rates with rezzys for like $500 on ebay. Or would I be better off waiting for some used elkas. I would really like to be able to adjust compression rebound and preload.
  7. x4 They are great. I have had my +2+1's for almost a year and could not be happier. Lots of people run them and I have never heard of any complaints.
  8. I have the 450 shocks on there now but I would like to get something that is meant for it. The 450's are just too stiff through the small rough stuff. I only weigh 140lbs. I was thinking about a set of works but have no clue what I should get. I ride mostly dunes (90%) and ride fast trails every once in a while (10%). I want something that will help riding over the truck ruts at the dunes but also be good for jumping. I would like something that is adjustable and have no problem spending $500-$600 if necessary. I also have +2+1 wicked arms. Help me out guys.
  9. psi is a pressure. Look again at what the units are on your torque wrench. Should be n*m or lb*ft or lb*in. It would help if we knew that you were actually torquing them to spec. which is ~20 ft*lbs. You could have also pinched one of the o-rings that is around the studs which would cause it to leak.
  10. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WICKED-PRODUCTS-A-ARMS-Banshee-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ260647511746QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_500wt_1182
  11. Are you dumping the clutch or slipping it out? I would think that stock gearing would be about right.
  12. I don't see a sig.
  13. you can do 32:1 or 40:1. I like 40:1
  14. My cousin and I are heading up to silver lake this weekend. Just wondering if anyone is going? I will be on a black banshee green frame he will be on a blue one.
  15. I just finished putting it back together after painting the frame.
  16. will sand blasting mess with my vin number or will painting.
  17. I don't know if it has been thrown out there yet because I dont feel like reading everything but 75w80 gear oil has about the same viscosity as a 10w30 motor oil.80w90=20w40. They are rated different. Just throwing that out there.
  18. I put a little on the o ring gasket. not around the threads.
  19. If your buddy had a spray gun you should have went to sherwin williams and got a car paint with hardener. I had painted my stock a arms when I had them and the paint never chipped or scratched. I had them for about two years. The paint was a single stage acrylic enamel. probably would have cost around $30.
  20. If you spray paint it and you accidental spill some gas or something on it the gas will eat away at spray paint because of no hardener. I think if you spray paint it it will look like crap in just a few months. Spray paint is not very wear resistant.
  21. This never worked for me. I always had to use silicone on the small one because one or two always leaked if I did not. I used the acorns with copper and the stock with no difference.
  22. Are you saying you cant rev it out? because going from from a 15/40 to a 16/42 will reduce low end and increase top speed or is that what you are trying to do?
  23. What kind of riding do you do and will you get it ported
  24. When I put mine back together every time I had to put a little bit on each one of the little o rings. I could never get mine to seal without silicone. I just used the regular blue rtv.
