the 09 banshee is already out over here and it's not a 4stroke. in that link it's a pic of the 09 2STROKE banshee, it says it's a single cylinder but that one cylinder has the same bore and stroke as the current banshee, twin 26mm carbs, premix?? i think they accidentally mashed the spec sheet from a 4poke with the banshee

i agree, imo the banshee twin is the best sounding 2stroke engine

imo i wouldn't, for me the pipes and rims look best when they're polished :shrug: but it's your quad, you'll have to look at it every day not me if i was you i'd try editing a pic on photobucket to see if you like the look of black pipes on your banshee jamie

first of all your thread is in the wrong section and is pretty hard to decipher so you might not get the replies you're hoping for. i have a 421 cub, i'm running the same size tires and the same gearing as you because i ride on the beach a lot. my cub hits top speed really quickly and that's 80+mph. how long is the race, are you getting near the top of 6th? if not gear that sucker down, there's no point in having all that speed if you have no use for it

my rears are cracked at the mount and were flopping like crazy so i cut off a two inch strip off them and the piece that sticks down on th back of them. pic ignore the link, i had a hard time to remember how to attach the picture

that's not too bad, they came off a motor that had no more than 30 hours on it so compression should be pretty good. i'm tryin to fund a set of cpi's for my cub

when i got my 421 cub from jeff at fast i had already been running a single 35pwk but when i fired up the cub it would only run on one cylinder. so i shut it off as not to burn up a piston, ordered a carb and pingel valve from jeff at fast which instantly solved the problem

i'm wondering what are they worth if i was to sell them

i have a set of cylinders, never bored or ported that i replaced with cub cyls. right now they are just taking up space, so i'm just wondering what are they worth?

i've been running the barnett carbon fibre clutch (no steels) and all HD springs in my cub with almost a year now with no slippage at all. the only complaint i would have is that it makes the oil dirty very quickly, so i change tranny oil after every couple of rides. when it goes i'll be hitting jeff up for the fast kit
