  1. Yea pics would help. The clamps actually provide a ground? It seems like they are just holding the wires against it, since all they are touching is the insulation?
  2. just put odi rouges on both my bikes, with lockjaw endcaps. havent ridden on them yet, but they look dope and are nice and sticky, not too hard not too soft, i think they will be perfect.
  3. i installed the chariot plate on my 06 tonight, just wanted to make sure i did it right. removed the flywheel with a puller, didnt see any key thing fall out. removed the stator from stock plate, installed it in chariot plate. i tried to run the wires behind the plate, but the screws would not go in, i think maybe the threads were the wrong way? the screws would go in to hold the wires down on the front of the plate no problem, but then the screw heads were touching the flywheel. so i just installed the plate and routed the wires behind it, like the original one, but couldnt use the small tabs to hold them down. then i lined up the raised part on the shaft with the notch in the flywheel, and impact gunned it back on. adjusted the pickup so it was away from the raised bumps on the flywheel by the thickness of the thinnest business card i had. used blue threadloc on everything. did i do this right? i cant fire it up to make sure, i still have more stuff to put on, including my tors killer throttle cable.
  4. im good, i think ill just run 32:1 with the R, and now im good on oil for a while. i was getting annoyed with how quick a bottle of that shit goes.
  5. yea when i get porting, i think i am getting a dune/play port, and almost all of my riding is trails
  6. i was intalling my chariot timing plates today, and i coudlnt figure out where the stator wires were supposed to go. at first i tried putting them on the back of the plate, like on the stock one, and the screws would not go in, i tried on both plates. then i tried running them across the front of the plates, but the flywheel would hit when cranked down. so i just ran them behind the plate with no screws and tightened the plate to the motor. is this right, or am i missing something?
  7. this fag frankie who works at yamaha new rochelle told me a stock banshee does 110. he also lied to my boy about his interest rate, and the year of the bike he was buying, so he is totally full of shit.
  8. yea i know. i will be doing different swingers on both of my bikes, but the stock chain adjusters are still fine for now, so why go blow a bunch of cash when i dont need to yet.
  9. when your check slack in the chain, you are supposed to check it in the middle between the 2 sprockets right?
  10. both of mine are for trails. what i would recommend is wider rear axle, pipes filters jets, full set of shocks, reverse offset front wheels or a-arms if you have the loot, and timing advance.
  11. im gonna get one of those bumpers the cops have on their vics and chargers, and weld that on to my shee.
  12. Yea lift it more and thro 26" sploaters on it. Flip flop paint and your really ballin!
  13. Well that sucks, guess ill stay stock. You know that bumper is really ugly and looks like its heavy and would slow your shee down a lot, you probably shouldn't buy it. Lol jk.
  14. Now that one I like! Is that like a custom one or where can I get a new one? That thing looks perfect for bashing down trees!
  15. Why not get her a jug loan? Tell her to go into some bank and say she is a stripper, and needs jugs because she isn't making enough money with the stockers due to the economy being so bad. As far as pudding jugs, I guess they would work for now, you would just have to be more careful. On the plus side, if she gets a blowout, pudding tastes better than jug filling I'm sure.
  16. which one is that, i dont think ive seen it? i would rock no bumpers, but i like smashing into shit and taking down trees.
  17. am i the only one who thinks the stock looks the best? it gives it that get out of my way face.
  18. i have ridden a stock 450, and i really didnt like it. wasnt that impressed. however, my 06 was completely stock when i got it, and i thought it sucked cock compared to my 97. i think stock everything sucks. cars quads cell phones girls etc. everything needs to be modded IMO.
  19. yo dood fuck all those shops in the bx, all they know is putting big ass bling rims on, and they dont even know shit about that. go to mallory kotzen in new rochelle, 20 e. main st. go thru main st in new ro, past mc donalds chevy etc, it will be on your right coming from the bx, once you pass the exxon/mobil. ask for brian he will be able to hook you up, tell him you know dan with the denali and banshees, and he should hook u up on price. there is another kid named nick who works there who has a lifted grand cherokee, so either one of them will know. i got sick of dealing with bronx mira mira tire shops and this place has always been good. http://www.mktire.com/
  20. that baby must haul ass with 3 outboards!
  21. i go thru a shitload of plugs! i have i think 2 or 3 cases of yamalube, if i am going to run it 32:1 do i have to change the jetting or anything? what oil should i switch to?
  22. cool, im gonna download the catalog, do you know of any online dealers?
  23. 4 stacks for a paint job?! fuck that, i paid that much for my 06
