  1. that looks pretty slammed, i would go more murdered out on the headlights!
  2. do you mean seating like so the top is flush, or seating so it stops? sorry never messed with it b4 lol
  3. for the airscrew, i screw it in until its flush for 0? then work from there? no need to change any pilots?
  4. soo give me a list of the jets i should order, and also, do i have to mess with the air screws or anything else?
  5. i think the toomey ones i have are 280s, so i should order up the 320, and might as well get some 310s and 300s while im ordering it. cascade a good place to order from?
  6. ok i am getting ready to work on my 2 quads, both will have the same setup. motors are stock internally. timing advandce (should i go +3 or +4?) i always run 93, my gasoline always supreme lol. toomey t5s. cfm airbox, with twin UNI filters with outerwears. i run yamalube 2R. the spots i ride are at like 500-3000 ft elevation. i have the dyno jet kits from the toomey pipes, i know the needles are good, but what about the mains and pilots? sorry for not posting in the jetting forum, i just realized this after i posted it.
  7. see the things that made me not want the vapor and go with just the JT gauge, i read about speedo problems, speedo cables dying, speedo inaccuracy, problems with the banshee electrical system etc. so i figured all i really need to know is coolant temp, so i went with the gauge.
  8. pulled the trigger on the JT ATV LED gauge kits, it was going to be about the same price to get a liquid filled mechanical gauge, and all of the other stuff i would need to install it. trailtech looks cool, but mounting would be a problem, and i have pretty much everything it does on my garmin etrex. plus with the trailtech, its 99 for the computer, then like another at least 50 for a mount/protector.
  9. dont the mechanical ones have problems of not being able to read them/getting damaged due to the vibrations of the engine etc? how are they connected, just to a probe in the coolant line?
  10. i think i might just go with the CRJ temp gauge, it is battery powered, so i dont have to worry about torching it if the voltage regulator comes unplugged. i like the trailtech, but my problems with it are that i have renthal handlebars, and hide a keys, so if i get the dash mount, it will be blocked by the bar on the renthal bars. also, i use a garmin etrex, so i pretty much always have distance speed anyways, and the way i beat on my bikes, the less stuff to break the better!
  11. i have never really seen them out before, it must be because of this hunting season crap.
  12. how do you have yours mounted, and what bars are you running? any more pics? i have renthal bars on both my bikes, and i want it mounted like how it looks like the one in your sig is, so i could keep the renthal pad on, and have the display below it.
  13. is it a whole buttload of wiring to install it, since it does so much stuff? will it work with renthal bars and the cascade bar mount plate?
  14. so this baby will work on a stock shee? has anyone mounted it in the plastics? any pics?
  15. cool, my boy had bought the case for his yfz450, but then traded it in, free oil for me!
  16. already got one!
  17. i have an unopened case of 10w40 yamalube 4 oil, is it ok to run this in my banshees? i know the manual says 10w30, but is this ok to use, or should i see if i can get a dealer to swap it?
  18. the EZ drain covers come with gaskets, so i just need 2 clutch cover gaskets i guess.
  19. after reading this post, i noticed the brake side rear one on my 97 has a little play, i am going to pull the cotter pin and try and torque it on more i guess, i hope i dont have to buy a new hub!
  20. just ordered up 2 ez drain covers and 2 pro design impellers, are all of the parts re-useable off the old shaft, or do i need anything else to slap these babies in?
  21. actually, i got the 1st banshee and i lost interest lol.
  22. so basically disconnect a radiator hose, let all that shit run out, then open the bolts on both sides and tip it over. then should i blast out the radiator with like a garden hose? so the prodesign just had a bad batch i guess, how much of a PITA is it to install?
  23. cam it! my car has LTs, intake, underdrives, catted x pipe and flows alum driveshaft and 4.10s, and thats all i put down. stupid ford had to put a small ass 4.6 in it. it is pretty fast and fun to drive though. someday i will either do a whippled 5.0 stroker or sell it and get the new camaro. the 3v 4.6 motors in the new mustang dont really get anything from doing cams, its either stroker, and/or turbo/blower. what kind of LTs do you have? i was actually about to buy an 02 ws6, i was between that and an 03 terminator, and then the new mustang came out, and i was like f it ill just mod the shit out of it, which i only got around to doing all the bolt on shit and get it looking the way i wanted to. then i kinda lost interest a little.
