  1. I was just curious of how much horse power I have with just the bolt ons, here they are; T 5s, oko 30mm carbs, open air box with K&N, Vforce reeds&cages, +4 timing, stock bore sa far as I know, 1997 purchased in 07 no mods when purchased, checked compression 125 both cylinders, runs strong. next mods will be porting, trying to keep the sleeper look, Thanks for any info, anything close!
  2. "Thats what I needed", Thanks alot guys.
  3. You lost me on "make sure cablekeeper slides on top of the cable" , might be a dumb question but do Ineed to pull slide out to put cable in keeper as one unit? Thanks
  4. Anyone else with the 30mm oko carbs have problems keeping the throttle cable in the keeper in the slides, I just installed the carbs, got it all together and checked the throttle over&over to make sure it was ok before starting and was fine, I just didnt think it looked like a good design unless something was missing that I didnt know about. Well anyways I pulled the chokes 2 kicks & fired up, shut the chokes down and went to give throttle and nothing, the cables come out of the keepers on the slides. Just doesnt seem right, am I missing something here? I checked the break down on carbs everything is there. Is there any tricks to it. Thanks for any help guys.

  12. still have radiator cover, how much? Oh SORRY didnt see the painted part thanks anyway.
  13. Not sure if we are talking about the same issue, but I had the asv lever, and on the back side of the lever it has a adjustment screw you can screw in toward the lever to tighten up the pull on it. I think it was a allen head screw, pushes lever out for more pull. I also thought my cable may have stretched or clutch was going/ adjustement fixed it.
  14. How much you asking, and which carbs mikunis/keihin? That is if he doesnt want them.
  15. Id start with what dave88 is set at and turn your air screw to 1 1/2 out from seated, and just have to run it and check your plugs/ do a plug chop on top end. Hope this helps ya out.

  17. There you go, thats the best way to put it. 2 stroke it!
  18. every banshee Iv owned has been that way with t5s & t6s not enough for most people to notice.
  19. I just put that same setup on my 97 without the rezzies, your not going to regret it , best upgrade.
  20. Well worth it, no hassle really everything fit perfect, and if you do get arms from this company they will cut the tie rods for you, he may be making them 13 1/2 now he"s a good guy to deal with Ill tell ya that. Ill try to get some pics up soon, candy blue/ chrome decals awsome!
  21. Do the upgrades I did and WOW, what a difference feels like a caddy now, And what you would loose in a trade in, is more than enough to do the upgrades. Not going to ride a more exciting quad than the Banshee.
  22. Yea, I was getting a little worried about finding another forum as good as this one. Like that would ever happen!
  23. Is it a new masterlink or the one that came off of it, May have gotten an non oring masterlink.
  24. I do mainly flat tracking, trail and drags, so you think the 28s would be my best bet, even with a port job. Im not going to do anything major, I want to keep it reliable. I just want to whoop on some 450s & 700s to let em know who rules the strip. would I be able to tell much of a difference between stock carbs & the 28 flatslides? another plus is getting rid of my TORS.
  25. Ok I have a stock motor with t5s, vforce3 reeds&cages +4 timing ,stock carbs, and when the time comes to rebuild topend I want to do some port work, dont know much about it, from what Iv read it really makes a difference. Anyway my question is which carbs should I go with, with what Iv got and what I want to do to it. I can get either pair with cables & xtra jets mains&pilots new for 299.00 is that a pretty good deal? 28s Or 34s Mikuni flat slides TM Thanks!
