Im not sure about elev. there, but sounds way to lean, try the 3rd to 4th groove from blunt end. 4th after market needle. And try air screw back to 1 1/2 out.

i would take off of both ends 1/8 each end, unless you know you have plenty of threads, one one of my ends was a little shy on threads but still worked fine, go 3/16 on each end, it will work.

probably depends on balljoint manufacturer and turns out on balljoints on the arms.

they are 13 1/2 now, I could have just taken a 1/8 to 3/16 off each end and pretty sure that would have done it. I had plenty of play with 1/4 off each end, more than enough, cut them with a grinder with cutting disc.

have you tried your 13 inch rods yet, just wondering if they were long enough.

talked to him thismorning again, so i cut a 1/4 inch off both ends each rod, screwed joints back in to about 1 turn out, " ARMS " and it works great, no threading problems threaded right back in. just check to see if joint screws in all the way first, to see if you have enough threads.

thanks for that info, they look like they would be pretty solid even turned out 3-4 turns, and im with you on the toe in, i also think some toe in is better than 0 toe. And as for the balljoints the fabricator himself, which is the owner of Wicked told me it was fine to screw out the balljoints, just dont get carried away.

how did you get yours to work, did you turn out balljoints any more than 2 turns?

I just went out and turned balljoints out 3-4 turns not sure wich cause i allready had adjusted for very slight tweaked frame, was able to align with very little play left for any needed adjustments later. I hate to say, but im not sure he will replace, he said you could cut or adjust. I hate to cut with nice powder coat or worse chrome!

dont knowif you got fixed yet or not, but i talked to the guy i got mine from and he said to screw your balljoints out 2-3 turns on each side or cut the tierods, i wouldnt go any more than 4 turns out, but thats up to you, depends on how long the threads are. "a arm balljoints"

yea i talked to him thismorning and he told me the same thing, because guys like to get as much out of them as possible width wise, not sure why they wouldnt get +3 to start with, but anyway screw balljoints out enough to make them work or he said you could cut them. I wouldnt screw them out any more than 4 turns myself to be the safe side.

Installed mine yesterday and the tierods are too long at 14 inches, I think they should be about 13 inches to set right and have some adjustment slack, arms are awsome though, everything fit perfect and look awsome, I think a lot of us ended up getting +3 rods instead of the +2. Ill call tomorrow to find out for sure.

hey wacko, i was installing my wicked arms yesterday and ran into the same problem, i measured my new ones and they are 14 inches and my stock ones are 10 7/8 so i think we ended up with + 3 tierods, cause at the most they should have only been 2 inches longer putting them at 13 inches, if i had a 1/4 inch shorter on both sides i could have gotten them straight i think. hopefully wicked will send me some new ones without me sending these back first, that way i can cut these and 'ride" if they work.
