Ok , so i kinda found another bike i want , and if i get what i want out of the shee , to be enough to get this other bike , then ill sell it .if not , i have no problem keeping it , so dont lowball because ill say no. 2005 Yamaha Banshee Limited Edition Black. Motor:(less than 5 hours on new topend) Mild race port Bored .20 over. Vitos Racing Pistons FMF Fatty pipes with silencers. Boost Bottle. +2 gearing for top speed. Jetted carbs (still in the process of getting it dialed in , itll be good before anyone comes to see it) Other: Kenda's in the front RAZR style tires in the rear all 4 ITP polished wheels Renthal Handlebars Race Cut Fenders Tribal Flame Skull Grill Durablue Extended Axle steel braided brake lines the only flaw: the back fender , i was told that when the Original owner bought it , it fell off a trailer , and they got scratched up a bit. the body is in no way twisted or cracked. Id say i need 3,800 OBO. its somewhat negotiable. This bike was previously owned by BluPits who is a very well known member and she and Jody took care of this bike real well. I am also a freak when it comes to keeping things clean , so this isnt a pile of junk. I traded my 450R for this bike . rode it. rebuilt it, scares the hell outta me sometimes, but i guess i just cant stay away from them 4-strokes . might be open to trades. 450cc class.   4. ok so ill go back to 280 mains. do i leave the air screw at 1.5 turns out??? and as for the idle its REALLY low . holds idle for 3 secs or so but since its so low it just dies out..... if i screw in the idle screws evenly , it shouldnt affect the carb sync , correct?

  6. without the filter and lid it runs perfect. yeah im not riding it like this. i just rode it up my paved road for 2 quick runs and put it away after i made sure it ran good. the carbs are basically sync'd , my mechanic sync'd them last time.i gotta raise the idle though because its really really low. will adjusting the air screw make a differnce??? because it was running fine before..

  8. its all disconnected right now. the 2 plugs comin from carbs and the one comin from the box. i took off the airbox LID and the actual air filter . and WOW it fucking runs like a raped ape. lol. what should i do? my air screws are out 1 1/2 turns. im going to buy a K&n
  9. ok the idle screws werent in , i was mistaken. theyre basically all the way out. but the knob by the thumb throttle , that holds the cable , was screwed all the way out , so it was pullin the cable like crazy. now it holds idle but barely. n if i give it gas quick when idling it dies. its still getting that power stutter at like 1/2 to full. but i was told that im rich at 300. ill try 280. running Castor 927 @ 32:1. its pretty smokey. lol. how many turns out should the air screw be? i did a comp check again and im at 120 each side so that hasnt changed lol. any suggestions appreciated . im happy to have my bike somewhat running again. i still havent had a chance to fully enjoy my new topend
  10. picked up my bike from the mech without him doin anythin. . i told him i was going to hold off on it for now. it wasnt getting any spark to it. he disconnected the 3 TORS plugs , and it started right up. when he sync'd the carbs , he did it with the idle screws and theyre all the way in I THINK. i start it up and it starts revving up on its own. could i go adjusting the idle little by little turning each idle knob the same amount each time and have it NOT rev as high? could there be something ELSE making it idle this high? its revving at like if it were a bit more than 1/4 throttle close to 1/2 Note: Tors is still there , just disconnected the 2 plugs from carbs and the one by the box.

  12. single 35mm 432 +45 k n filter +80 labor =575 total stock with tors removal total=408 total 2 dual carbs 35mm or so =501 total those r his prices. im thinkin of just buyin the 2-1 n installin it myself....i know how to
  13. yeah thats exactly what I was thinking.hes really well reccomended for some reason from most of the racers around here.Well im going to tell him that im going to keep it dual carb and that im not doing the 2 into 1 because im planning on selling it once its running good.see if that works
  14. Wont I lose power in topend if i get the 2 into one kit??? or is it still an improvement over stock carbs?
