  1. Many of the flat slides hit the pipe and you have to turn the carb slightly to get em off the pipe. Just make sure you keep your float adjusted so they dont leak and so they dont run a bowl dry.
  2. Cool lookin bike. Giotta ditch the front disk brake guards tho.
  3. Piston in backwards? Washer not on mainjet in carb? Forget to put mainjet in carb? Fuel line kinked or clogged? Fuel runs out of line and carbs fine? Float level messed up, no fuelcomin thru carb?
  4. I just cut the plug off the old stator and solder the plug off the bad stator onto the new one that matches the wiring harness for the bike and roll.
  5. Dwaddle, those things will bring more than that on ebay, probably $280. I'm probably gonna part off all my drag stuff off my bike soon and ebay prices are pretty high right now with glamis season kickin in.
  6. CHILL THE F#CK OUT YOLANDA!
  7. OMG Jenn , will you come over to my house and tighten my chain I REALLY cant figure it out. I also put on new handlebars do I need to rejet? LMAO Thats one of the funniest things about dune racing is learning how to start, ride your bike, tune a bike, gear right. You can get more tuning done in an hour at the dunes than 5 trips to the track. Guys keep saying "You need to come to the track and then we'll see what your BIKES got" Duners say "Come to the dunes and we'll see if YOU can ride. " Its harder to be fast at the dunes. Theres bumps, ruts, whoops, trying to get good starts. Its all in good fun, dont be soo serious guys.
  8. The dude has 14 posts. All in for sale. What do you think?
  9. Cam's a freakin cheater. Whaaaah! "I wait till the guy drops his arm and he leaves BEFORE the guy drops." LMFAO. I get a phone call or text about everytime I go to L.S. about Cam cheating and havin his flagger drop right as he rolls up to the line. The first race I did last friday the freakin guy dropped right as I rolled up to the start and I was doing like 5mph. No SH!T That was like givin me a 8 bike headstart. They shouldn't drop when guys are rollin up.LOL
  10. Holes in pistons I have seen are usually too much timing. If your ground strap has the blue haze/ burn past half way on the bend of the elbow or closer to the base than the tip then turn the timing back. It could very well be lean as well. I'm surprised you didn't notice any detonation problems or have your plugs fall out before the holes. Cast pistons?
  11. Haha! I'm just teasing ya , his bike looks like a trail bike, headlights, all stock lookin other than the +8. He had the grey truck that got stuck as a mofo and got pulled out by that jeep. LOL
  12. I kinda like em shorter than 14, for dunes and dune dragging I run a 13.5 and can take the adjustment nut off and make it close to a 13. Many guys run 12.5 to 13.5 on dunes. If you are street racing or track shorter like 12" is prolly better. I have fireball +3 fwd -2 width drag arms.
  13. Dang Bobby you didnt see Mr Chow's Asian Invasion 350 running? He was hangin.
  14. If its rich then the plugs will show it. Ricky stator? They do that. If each gear like 4 5 and 6 feels exactly the same the clutch could be slipping as well.
  15. There was noone out there or any bike that didn't lose a race and there were hundreds of people there and easily 100 drag bikes racing. If you never lost a race then you didn't go out. If anyone wanted to race Matt Shearer he was there from 11:30am till it got dark on friday and had a 9 foot tall Red Truck that said Shearer on the back. I had a blast hanging out with him and his crew was great. I have no complaints about racing on friday , we had a blast racing friday and WOW there was a lot of awesome bikes.
  16. The wampus is just the shape of the outside of the cylinder. So ya have CUB or WAMPUS style on the outside. AS far as porting you have 2 choices there CUB or Serval porting. A serval isnt exactly a trail, hill climbing, creek/mud riding motor. It would be stronger and hit harder than 95% of the so called "drag port and polish" setups you will see except that it will have lowend power too and do it on pumpgas if you'd like. If you ride fast stuff like roads, dunes or open areas and want pump gas then thats what the serval designed for. Cub cyls are pretty much high hp drag/dune cyls that are mostly higher rpm setups with pretty poor lowend lugging type power. Both of those setups are designed by Calvin Pollet and are just extremely efficient well designed cylinders with good water jackets.
  17. We got spots on the hill by the party now.I like Rotax's idea too all the way to north and back. I have a 4 stroke I could do it on don't think the alky bike would make it. I wanna see Loco air it out in a horseshoe race with a big ass dune in the middle. . Lol.
  18. Tim me or MrChow would prolly buy some from ya. We are trying to burn it all up before winter and not buy another barrel.
  19. Springer, what length tie rod are you wanting? Some of those stupid tierods are metric thread. Fireballs are metric if I remember right.
  20. The metropolis or metropilitan area of Waynoka leaves many of you yankees wanting for more just because you aren't from Oklahoma or Kansas.lol. There's beer and food in town and the LSPS store at the dunes usually has most of what you'll need as far as oil, cables, flags etc. Walmart, Oreilly, etc is 30 miles away in Alva. Also anybody coming from the north off I-35 its more than 60 miles across 11 hwy and Medford is the only fuel stop between I-35 and Alva.
  21. I always clearance them by using a dremel with a fine carbide bit and taking a little material away from the cylinder right next to the nuts/studs. There's no problem with doing that and I also have a thin 12mm wrench. Glad to see you are doing a pressure check , you woulda just had problems. Always check your squish too on any build regardless of builder/ parts supplier.
  22. That pic of Cam with the 4 chins is just sexy. "Have you seen my baseball?" Hahaha! I still don't know how to tighten my chain. Lol.
  23. Trinity used to call a 68mm bore / stock stroke a "400" kit. They even had some of them that were cheetahs with powervavles. Those cyls are high HP setups and they are designed for each particular stroke and usually stroke shouldn't be changed on them. I don't know what type of riding/racing you do but there's no reason that a 392 can't be 900-100HP if its not now. Even with inframe pipes and small carbs on gas they can be 80hp.
  24. SheeBnasty you can call me after about 8pm or text anytime if yer interested in the swingarm. 913 219 5840 , I was thinkin of askin $275 for it or trade for somethin.
  25. Hell yeah, I like the blitzed BBC pic. Lol. Lookin forward to some ride/race time. I have a set of 8x8 Douglas Blue labels, +10 Chrome Swingarm with good +10 chain if anyones interested. Will trade my 10x2 spindlemounts for some 10x4s or my 14 extreme SLS for 13s.
