Hey Radar, I have a buddy in independence that will hook us up cheap. He said $50 bucks a frame, but we have to blast them and provide the powder. I still figure we can get them done for less than $100 bucks or so. He said he can sand blast smaller items like arms and stuff. I'm waiting on him to get back to me on wether or not he can do a two stage. I will keep you updated.

I wouldn't assume the top end is smoked just yet. First thing to do is to clean your carbs. Pull them apart and clean the jets out really good. I run a guitar wire through them and then blow them out with compressed air. Once you have cleaned your pilot and main jets out, put them back in and then set your air screws. There is one one each carb. Screw them all the way in and then back them out 1.5 turns. Report back and give updates. I can't remember the last time I rode a stock banshee. The 700s are pretty quick, I give the win to Raptor in 700ft and 50/50 in 500ft.

If you have $500 to spend and are tired of getting dogged on, then spend your money on porting!

I see. The second picture wasn't showing up the first time I looked at this thread. They look like FF's. The stock shock lenght measures 14 3/4" from eye to eye. Check to see what length they are. The ride height looks right to me though.

Well with a few mods and upgrades you can flat out destroy your buddies on their 400s! A tank with stock carbs should last you at least 4hrs. Banshees are gas hogs though. Your buddies on their 4 strokes will get alot better mileage out of a tank of fuel so be aware of that when you go on long rides with them. Welcome to the HQ!

Did you adjust the shift shaft so that it is centered on the adjuster bolt? Your shift shaft may not be pushing the shift drum pins far enough to pop it in gear.

Get yourself a nice set of PTs and beat them with a hammer.

Get you some good tires for the terrain that you ride on. The stuff you ordered will be a great start. Don't forget to jet your carbs when you put on the pipes and filter.
