  1. Exactly what I was talkin about. Thanks, ill make somethin myself also. Don't u guys know how to read? Not a fucking RAM AIR intake, I never mentioned the intake at all. U going to make all banshee owners look like inbread unedumacated hill billy assholes that can only make fun of something they don't understand. Thanks for the ideas ladies.
  2. No probs overheating, but it gets hot putting around in mtns in summer. I know I got to go fast to keep it cool. Just curious, good point about raptor, just wondering if it would have helped. Thanks for the info, and reason why.
  3. Not for intaintake, just to help jam more air thru radiator, to help in cooling. Like the 250r has, and all new 4 strokes. On banshee there is a good gap between the rad cover and rad. Just looking for something to help funnel the air that passes thru the grill into the radiator instead of flowing past on either side.
  4. Any one know if someone makes some type of scoop that goes between the radiator and the grill? I think it would help funnel air thru radiator rather than allowing it to go past. Most all liquid quads and dirt bikes have a shroud or scoop of some sort. Any ideas, or would it be a waste to build one?
  5. I bet u could get one on Craigslist. Beware of scammers tho, make sure to get actual pics, not promotional pics from manufacturers website.
  6. Bought my 06 new in July of 07, ran yamalube for the first year at 32:1. Shit got expensive and could only get in quarts. So I made the switch to klotz supertechniplate at 32:1, been running it since. Read a lot here and made the Decision to change. Plugs seem to be alot cleaner, and way less smoke and less unburnt clogging silencer packing. Plus klotz smells delicious to both me and those following me. Like bubble gum almost, like mixing 99 bananas and tampico oj. Use it in weedeater also. Run the pure Polaris stuff in wifes trailblazer, oil injected. Damn thing hardley smokes, I always wondered what it mixes at, read and most say 50:1. Runs like a champ tho.
  7. I wouldn't worry about front tires, regular tires will be fine, a little weight in front will help u turn if ur just duning. I ride dunes 90 percent of time and rock stock tires. For rears, id snag a set from a local classifieds for under 100 on wheels. Around here u can get haulers on ksl.com for that on wheels all day. Don't really matter if ur just a couple times a year, anything is better than knobbies. Ull have fun on anything. Those sand haulers would be fine. There was a dude on here with a link to atvdragracer.com where someone bought the stock of those and was selling them. They are a hill shooting tire.
  8. Motion sensor lights. Steel reinforced door jams, dead bolts. Couple badassed paddle locks on each side of big door. Couple yappy dogs that bark when someone 6 houses down shuts their car door, and a big dog that'll rip someone's face off. If they get thru that, yell HE'S COMING RIGHT AT ME while emptying the 16 rounds from the S@W 40.
  9. I rock the Alpine star tech 6 as well. Great boot, you will learn to shift with your leg and not just your ankle. but they will break in. you can adjust your shift lever up, I did. Makes it not so easy to wear just shoes anymore, but once you start riding with boots, you wont go back. You will be glad you have the protection when you need it. I ride sitting on the 1/3 of my seat closest to my tank, get a lot of great control. I dont see how these guys riding sitting on the back of the seat, except just shooting the hill i guess trying to get weight over your tires.
  10. What's his address? I'm sure he's got 1100 dollars worth of shit sitting infront of his house someone can swing by and grab for u.
  11. Makes sense, he raced widowmaker well over 12 yrs ago with huge motors. Guess ill steer clear of the skirt modifications. Thanks guys, knew u guys would know what's up.
  12. Brandon is great, I'm out of town now, but need to talk to him when I get back about a few other things. Gonna get a tors kit and maybe an adjustable timing plate, and park brake block off, and maybe a tm designworks case saver. I'll bring up piston modding with him then. Those sound like good first mods?
  13. So my bike is stock, no port at all. Would it help at all then or be usless.
  14. So my uncle is an old school snowmobile racer. During the holidays he told me about how they used to cut the skirt on the piston an eighth an inch on the intake side. He swears it made big gains. Anyone hear of this or do this? If not how's it sound?
  15. Thanks guys. I do wear boots, tech 3's, but I'll keep them stockers till I can get some of those pegs for her.
  16. So I'm thinking of getting rid of the heel guards and plate attached to pegs. Wanna clean up the look but am curious if it'll cause my fenders to sag without the support. Any input? Also kinda concerned about the safety of it. Grew up riding dirt bikes, so I think id be ok with just pegs. What u guys doing, or ur thoughts? Thanks in advance for the opinions. P.S. they are the stockers, and I ride mostly sand and love to jump.
  17. I got a set from the dealership when I bought my banshee. Been two and a half years still look new. And I run over shit all the time and no flats. Kinda heavy but I'm not racing so I dont mind. Do dig but u learn to throttle it when taking off. Got some ams sand snakes on wifes trailblazer, I like them. Pretty lite and hard to ruin too. I'll Proly get those next. Plus cheap, hit up alfies toy box and he can Proly hook u up thru rmatv
  18. No TORS removal kit on sale?
  19. Cool dude. Gave me excellent advice on jetting for my bike (several times) which is stock except for the CPI inframes he gave me a killer deal on! Definitely going to let him port my bike when the time comes. itll be longer than i wish as i still got the tors on my 06 (bought it new, im taking my time with her). But Brandon is really cool, and knows his shit.
  20. Heres mine, Nothing special, but i like it. 2006 SE. 2006 SE
  21. Ya, I was hoing to get some tips to do it my self, i know it wont end up as mirror as yours, but i am just wanting to polish up some little things like my silencers, foot pegs, etc. Any suggestions for chemicals/tools would be appreciated, but i understand if you dont want to give out your secrets.
  22. So what are u guys using to get this mirror finish on ur parts? Chemical and tool wise? Just need some tips. Thanks for your help?
  23. i got an 06 50th anniversary yellow shee, i put cpi inframes on and trimed front fenders around them. i wanna cut them off, but want to keep them too. cant decide. anyone got pics of one of these yellows with cut fenders?
  24. so i just got a pro flow adapter and k&n filter from a guy. traded an amp i havent used in years for it. anyways, if i put it in and go with no lid, is the outerwear needed? or would leaving the lid on be better? i currently have an 06 se with cpi inframes and jetting at 290 with stock filter and lid-no snorkel, jetting is rich by a couple i think, the filter should make it right.
  25. sweet, thanks for all the info guys!
