  1. Update: No Surgery!!!! YAAAAA. Just shitty physical therapy. been pushing it tho, and im dont to one crutch, getting a cane to use mostly for balance and a little security in the snow. Knee is still swollen as hell tho, and wont lock out straight, so i look all sortsa tarded trying to walk. but what the hell. Gotta get it good enough so i can get back to the gym so i can go west and do some riding. Can wait.
  2. ya, just got my 06 yeller and black se in june. got it for $5400 plus tax and fees etc. not bad i figured for a new one, always wanted one, still 100% stock!
  3. thanks guys, guess its a good thing its winter here
  4. sorry, i didnt think the pic was that bad. There aint shit on tv during the day. atleast i got this site and youtube.
  5. well, dislocated my damn knee last night. pretty bad one, if your knee is at 12 oclock normal, mine was at almost 4. Didnt do it doing anything cool though, which makes it kind of a gay injury. I was mudding and taping some sheet rock in the basement, and came down off the ladder wrong, hurt like a bitch. tried to put it back myself (which hurt worse), but it was too far over. so i got to take a ride on the ambluance and get knocked out to have it reset. Said ill have to do physical therapy and wont be normal till atleast 6 weeks, maybe surgery, got to go see the ortho surgeon next monday. pics not the best, but here it is. Dislocation
  6. well, weather was freaking awesome! the bansh did great and so did the wifeys new trailblazer. i definately need to get a tors removal kit and get that sucker outta there. and adjust my float levels in the carbs i guess. I was able to get up sand mountain in 4th gear, 100% stock banshee, as long as i didnt get into it before the whoops, but if i started into the throttle before the whoops it would still bogg down and pop like it was running outta gas just near the top. But over all it was nice. saw a couple more banshees down there is all, looked pretty nice, was anyone on here down there sunday the 16th??
  7. I had an 87 until i bought my banshee in june. Thing is all torque, ride wheelies all day and climb and hard packed hill. Not the best in sand, infact, id get pissed every time i went to the dunes cuz it would just dig in and i couldnt clim anything for a long way. It will climb anything real short, but for long distance, nothing. It revs out right off that bat and thats why i had a hard time taking long hills. but it was awesome in the mountains. I had a cobra pipe, K&N, and a huge jet, think it was .30 ish?? I blew the top end, rebuilt and then bottome went out, taking the new top with it. Rebuilt the whole damn thing and had it bored as big as i could on the stock head size (380 i think, not sure there), and it still wouldnt climb for long distance. them old 4 strokes are nothing compared to the new ones!
  8. well, i think its winter now, got 5 inches of snow already here in magna. Heading down sunday still, so doesnt look like ill need my paddles, ground should be nice and hard.
  9. im in magna. heading down sunday, as long as it is not snowing wen i get up. I saw that thing on ksl.com classified for like 4 months, guess someone finally bought it. Good luck holding on, and let us know how she runs.
  10. would that affect it even if the parking brake is not on?
  11. aight, i was afraid that was gonna be the final answer. guess its a good thing my clymers came in the mail yesterday. just thought id double check before i start tearing into it. Gonna go down to ls utah sunday, so ill get to it after that. Thanks again for the help.
  12. ive read and read about tors on here, plenty of info on how to remove them. But i am unable to find any info on what they actually do. From what i understand they suck! but why? My new 2006, only has about 5 rides on it now all from me, boggs out after i have been into the throttle for a bit. Couple people have suggested checking float levels and jetting. but it is brand new and been doing this since i got it, i was thinking maybe it could be due to the tors? from what i understand they are supposed to help out incase of a stuck throttle. could the tors be thinking that after i have been into the throttle for a bit that it is stuck and that is why it is acting as if it is running outta gas? is the tors acting as a rev limiter or something and only allowing it to be reving high for a little while? Thanks for the help, Chad.
  13. man, the quarterincher from PRM-atv is the most bullet proof. thickest one i could find. Never heard of the extreme fabrication one.
  14. no one eh?
  15. Just got an 06 trailblazer for the wifey, anyone know where i can get a belly skid for it? all i can find is for ones up to 95. Thanks for any help.
  16. Thanks guys. i like is to far. im sure it will get all skuffed up fast enough. I got a pretty good deal on it. got hte wifey a new trailblazer (last 06 in the state) and the skids i ordered got discontinued and they didnt tell me and just kept my money for a couple weeks. so they gave me cost on a lot of other stuff.
  17. well went and got a new lid tonight. cant get pics of mine on here but this is the one i got: lid Got the white one with the chicks on it. pretty fraking comfortable, guess ill put it to the real comfy test on dec 9th. Going to the dunes for my bday, anyone else think theyll be ther? or is it too cold for everyone? supposed to be 40 degrees..

  20. i hope so, maybe my birthday weekend (dec 8). if so proly just for one day. You from utah, or close to? It was awesome today! perfect weather, no freaking wind, not tons of people but enough you could take breaks and watch people drag. it couldnt have been a better weekend. nice sand, and perfect virgin sand this morning before all the lazy asses were awake. We got there about 8:30 this morn. Ill post some pics up soon as my buddy emails them to me, got some good ones.
  21. wish i could go. got family stuff going on. but a buddy and me are going for the day this sunday, anyone gonna be there?
  22. ..And then some additions (power sports, motor sports, or whatever substituted for additions) like "ya, we got that, and then some"
  23. Throwing Roost Powersports????
  24. ok, I searched but couldnt find anything... so my brand new 06 shee with 3 rides on it boggs down when ive been into the throttle for a bit. I asked around and the answer i got the most seems to be that i need to adjust the carb float levels. im a little nervous to take the carbs apart, i know they are synchronized and dont want to screw shit up. is there anything i really need to be aware of before starting to disassemble the carbs and check the float levels? does anyone have any pics of the process of taking them apart or once apart, etc etc..??? Also, i am curious, does anyone think it might be the jetting instead? i was thinking that if they were too big itd suck all the gas out too fast, and thus emptying the floats before they have time to refill? Im in utah and am not sure what the jetting should be, does anyone know what the jetting should be on a completely stock shee? i would think the dealership should have adjusted the float levels and the jetting correctly before selling it to me, wouldnt they? Thanks for all help, everyone is great!
  25. Its cool. Thanks for the info. i guess ill have ton check the floats then to make sure they are where they should be. and the pet cock. the filer looks good, first thing i checked. thanks again
