  1. Where you at in OK? There is a shop here in Bartlesville with pretty good prices.
  2. Lifestyle and the Rush! I have been riding my Banshee since I bought it in 1988. I have worn out several parts, and found many weaknesses in the stock parts. Riding it is still the biggest rush and the most fun that can be legally had. I don't plan on ever getting rid of it....................
  3. Yamabond, Yamabond 4 I think, they can tell you at the dealer. It's only like $5 a tube, you could do lot's of motors with one tube.
  4. What year Banshee is that master cylinder off of? I might be interested.......
  5. Some burners don't accept or recognize the DVD-R disks. Try it with the DVD+R
  6. Yea, you can replace that seal very easily. Just screw a drywall or sheet metal screw into the seal, and pop the seal right out. Clean and slide a new one in.
  7. Here is the info, I bought a few from him also. Tell him you are from the BHQ and he'll ship them for free. >Check or paypal is fine, my paypal address is [email protected] my home address is >Chris Rossman >807 16th Ave. S. >St Cloud, MN 56301
  8. I will be there early in the week, probably Wednesday. Lots of people I know showing up for this trip also. I will be in a brown Dodge 4X4 pulling a Wanderer Wagon 5th wheel. My Banshee is a 1988 with Black tank and seat, and white fenders. Are we still putting duct tape below the flag?
  9. I'm in for sure, it's Fall Break and I'm taking the whole family.
  10. I agree, no metal should be showing. I have had several frames powdercoated and none has ever looked like that. After a few years of riding boots rubbing on it, it will start wearing through though!
  11. If the motor is still stock, then stock parts work fine. When you add more HP you will need to upgrade to at least new, stiffer springs.
  12. I'll try to remember the duct tape! I had a couple of friends with warriors before I converted them over to 2 strokes, we used to call them Banshee recovery units.
  13. I'm going over and wondered if anyone else was going to be there this coming weekend? I plan on camping at Cowboy camp.
  14. I have one wire going to ground, and the other wire goes to the coil.
  15. I think the Tusk tie rods are built just like the Ricky Stator ones, with a solid tie rod that threads into the tie rod end. Here is a pic from Ricky Stator's site: I have the Ricky Stator tie rods and they are much beefier than stock. I used to bend the stock ends all the time, no problems now.
  16. I personally feel that the reason it works so well on the Banshee is that it is a twin cylinder motor. Since it fires every 180 degrees of crankshaft rotation, there is a lot less need for flywheel weight than on a 4 stroke that fires every 720 degrees. I can see needing weight to get to the next power stroke when the crank has to go around twice! If you don't want the power and RPM's coming on faster(acceleration), then you probably don't want your flywheel lightened.
  17. Exactly like Boonman and JJ said, this ensures that you will machine the flywheel exactly concentric to the crankshaft. I also don't feel the need to support the fixture with the tailstock, mine is made close to the chuck also. I would also add to not get too close to the pulse triggers, they are hollow underneath and if you machine right up to them you will expose the hollow pocket.
  18. To get back on topic............... You will not lose any topend, you will gain throttle response. If you want more informative answers do a search, we have went over this many times in the past.
  19. Yea, I have had great luck with Rocky Mountain too.
  20. The only thing I ever ordered from Magic Racing was my pipes and silencers. I got the pipes a week or so later, but they were the wrong ones. Called them and they said that I was wrong and they were the right pipes, and that the silencers would be sent out soon (everything was suppose to be in stock when I ordered). To make a long story short I never got the silencers and had to send the pipes back and have VISA do a chargeback to get my money back from them. I'm glad you guys have had better luck with them because they screwed me over.
  21. I always just run a tap through the holes after it is powdercoated. If I remember correctly the only places you have to make sure they mask off is the stub where the rear brake lever slides on, and the bore where the steering stem bearing fits and the swingarm bolt slides through. There is only about 4 different tap sizes in the frame.
  22. Your fired for warming Beer on the stove. No party foul here, can was empty!
  23. I plan on going that weekend too. Look me up.
  24. I think Klotz sells it, I've seen guy's at Glamis using it.
