  1. So your 4mm cub makes 119 HP?? I think you should go back to bed.
  2. I haven't dynoed the Banshee but heres my KFX for fun. Pipe and intake only 48 hp 33 tq
  3. I went from about 165 to about 150psi on mine after 2 seasons. It still screams up top, but won't launch in 2nd or pull 6th on the flats. It's getting freshened up over the summer.
  4. Located in Utah.... Maybe Mormonville or Mormonburg??
  5. He definitly knows his shit. I invision him being a household name real soon.
  6. I'll be down south at Buttercup. The popo are alot more fuckin hard up in Glamis!! I'll take Border patrol over dick head rangers any day.
  7. Very interesting thread.. I never new pistons weren't "round". Why is that so?
  8. I would hate to cover up that subframe, but I would do cut rears with the paint...Bikes with no rears haven't grown on me yet. I don't think you're gonna like them tall gears in the dunes..Bike looks awesome.
  9. Wow thats one of the fuckin coolest things I've seen.
  10. Well one of the flywheel rivets sheared off and stuck to one of the nodes and when the node went by the pickup, it took out the pickup. I need a flywheel and stator now. This pic is not mine , but looks identical to what happened to mine....jbooker82's bike below http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y251/jboo...cs/100_2219.jpg
  11. I don't think Casade was outrageously priced. I paid $550 for a +4 with carrier and caliper mount and all hardware...All the swingers I researched were about $400, then another $150 for the carrier. Note this was for bare metal finsh. Add $225 for chrome...I guess thats were it gets pricey, but their chrome is flawless. I just got mine powder coated with the rest my stuff.
  12. You need to get that nut on there tighter or you will ruin something! You can make a tool to hold the flywheel still when you torque the nut down. About 65LBS I think. Hit it with an impact if you need to. You don't want it coming off again, it's gonna trash something man.
  13. Cool. I was too lazy to take off the coil and bolt up my spare in its place while I was out there, so I'll just start with that this weekend. Hopefully it's the coil. I don't really want to pull the stator side cover off, unless I have to, because the threads on my shifter are on their last legs.
  14. Last weekend at the dunes the banshee was running great until it lost spark 1/2 way up the hill and died. It was at night so I pulled the plug out and held it against the head and kicked it over, but didn't see any spark. The head lights would flicker though. I have a Ricky stator stator on there, and I'm leaning towards that being the problem.(ignition coil on stator) I had a spare coil that I tried while I was out there, but I didn't bolt it to the frame and maybe the coil has to be grounded to the frame in order to work???, If not then the coil is fine. Been super busy and haven't had time to tear into yet, just want some oppinions on the issue. Thanks.
  15. I think 310 mains is a little small. My old set up with unported stock cylinders with ALL the bolt on's, pods and t-6's, I was at 340 mains and 4th clip down from top. 300-1200 elev.
  16. I want to know why there is missing material in the ring area on the both pistons. Just on the sides though. Could be excessive rod end play. What kind of condition is your crank in? could of twisted out of phase and that would cause detonation and cast pistons don't hold up very long to deto, if they are cast, which they look to be. Also might have a little air leak, because there's some erosion on the exhaust side of your "good" piston.
  17. ^^^Me too. I have the same thing.
  18. I put the Tusk plates in about 3 years ago (running the cub the last 1.5 years) other then that my clutch is totaly stock. Zero slippage. The key is I run 6HD springs.
  19. It will sound like total shit without any packing in there!! Raspy hollow sound IMO. I've been told it would effect performance too. That perforated tube is not a spark arrestor.
  20. Titan up

    BANSHEE KILLER !

    Hahaha bum fights!!
  21. That doesn't sound right. Do the idle screws even touch the slides at all? Are the screws long enough? Are you sure you're screwing in the idle screws and not the air screws?
