  1. I rock the Knarleys on my LTR all the way around and love them, although the razr's i have on the shee are nice too. But they are a bit worn out these days, need a new set myself.
  2. I've never done this before but my suggestion would be to put a jack under the frame with the tires still on loosen all the bolts to the swing arm and the jack it up a little a couple jackstands under the swingarm. remove the tires, sprocket and chain should already be off and then you could just pull the swing arm out. I'm not a pro. Just my thought process. I could be way off.
  3. Honestly guy. Lets be serious. I don't post much but I search and read a lot, and these guys know their stuff. And yes they have been through all of this before. Newbs on the site posting how fast they can go. Like they said go to a track, post your slip and its done, go ahead and prove them wrong, I double dog dare ya.
  4. That makes two of us with the best of two worlds, and loving it.
  5. What you doing over here Glamis Duner get back to the LTR site, haha.
  6. Mityvac ftw. That is definately the best thing ever. I spent like 3 hours pumping the front brakes yesterday with no improvement. Got on here last night searched it, and went straight to autozone this morning. I could not believe the amount of air that was in the lines. It was amazing I would have been pumping the brakes for days. Thanks for the help guys.
  7. Hey man, any good tips on this. I have the exact same thing going on right now. I think its possibly the ground wire, but have no idea where to look. Probably gonna have to get someone who knows electical to look at it. But if you found anything out let me know.
  8. Hey guys, I recently put on some fmf sst pipes. And i changed out the mains to 260's and i have no powerband the engine feels like it is flooding out. So i went back to the 220's. it hits powerband but barely. Am I missing something here. Sorry for starting the new thread but I'm trying to go riding tomorrow. And i'm leaving work in an hour or so, and won't have internet the rest of the night. Not really time to search. Just hoping to get some sort of answer. Thanks in advance.
  9. I have my tors eliminated, and my parking break blocked off. Same thing that is happening to you happened to me prior to purchsing my k&N filter. I have the stock airbox with the snorkel. I'm not talking about huge amounts of water either just puddles, it would rev like crazy. The air filter fixed the issue. I'm going to say you should get the correct size filter, and try using the stock airbox lid.
  10. Just bought some pipes off of him. Very helpful, shipped exactly when he said he would. It was a pleasure
  11. To be honest I have a feeling that its the carrier not being adjusted straight, I'm going to throw some new bolts in there and see what happens. I guess the carriers on these aren't the best so i'm going to see what I can do with that first.
  12. Air pressure is real low, around 5 psi. Everything looks straight but that is just eyeing it up. I'm gonna look in to changing a few things and we'll see what happens. Thanks for the ideas i'll let you know what's up.
  13. Thanks man i'll look into that chain tensioner. Now if I could get some help on the alignment issue in the back that would be great help. Thanks,
  14. When I went to shorten the chain i was testing it out to see how it would fit. So i pushd the axle all the way forward, and I would have to cut two links out of the chain and because it is an oring chain. thanks for the loctite idea though.
  15. Alright boys here is my deal. First off my chain is wicked loose. good chain, O-ring purchased it about 2 months ago. cut it at 104 links, stock sprockets. However, I have the axle back as far as I can get it, and there is still too much play in the chain. Today I tried tightenin it and it just doesn't have anything left. But it was the first time I test rode it without the rear skid plate and this was the first time that the chain slipped. So I come back in the garage put it u on the jack and put the shee in gear and the rear wheels seem to be bouncing, or are out of alignment. I've also had problems with the nuts above the axle that you loosen to tighten the chain coming lose while riding. The axle spins fairly well. I don't suspect its the bearings however, there is a good chance that it could be. I'm just out of ideas on this one. I was going to cut the chain todaybut i realized that it was going to be too short. I need some help guys. Give me some ideas to try. Thanks ahead of time.
