  4. Hi All Looking for some advice. I have a stock banshee with KN filter and lid that was running 240 mains and needle clip in the 3rd groove. I installed some boysen power reeds, got rid of the lid and installed 260 mains and adjusted the pilot screw till it ran good. I also took off the spark arrestors off the standard pipes and it didnt run as well as it did when the arrestors were on so I put them back on? It had good power up until 3/4 and then it didnt want to go anymore. I figured it was to rich on the mains so I am going to go to 250 mains and hopefully it will be better. I was wanting to know if I should move the clip position one position leaner or leave it where it is? I want to go riding next weekend so I cant afford to play to much with the tuning as I am a bit busy at the moment. Your suggestions would be much appreciated thanks

    Reeds

I have a stock Banshee with KN's and jetting. I am looking at getting some T5 and want to know what reeds to get. Are there any performance difference for my setup with either using. Boyesen Pro Series Reeds $89 Boyesen Super Stock Carbon Reeds $53 Are there any other reeds that you would recommend. As I am in Australia I would prefer to order through the internet. Also would those reeds still be good if I were to do some porting later on.
  6. I just bought some 2nd hand Kenda Gecko tyres 21 * 11 * 9 on yamaha 9inch rims for $30 a bargin. I know these tyres are crap but they should work better than the originals if I upgrade tyres what do you guys think I should get.

    Dune Tyres

I have a 06 Stock Banshee. I ride dunes and wanted to know the best setup for tyres. I will upgrade to a T5 pipe kit in about 6-12 months when I get some $$ but that will be it in terms of modifications to my bike. What do you guys think would be the best tyre and wheel combo. I will probally order from rockymountain.
  8. Storey so far. I have a 06 Banshee with a KN filter. I ride mostly dunes and mx at sea level. I want power most power mid - high. I live in Australia so I can either import. FMF Fatty $274 Pro Circuit $390 T5 $500 I know most people recommend T5 but have not heard much responce from Pro Circuit has any body used them. I also plan to advance the timing +4 and also get boyseen reeds in standard cages. This is the only engine mods I will ever do on the bike and I am on a tight budget so if I only get minute power difference with eithier pipe I will go for the cheaper option. Look forward to hearing some responses
  9. I have not heard much about pro circuit exhaust pipes. Are they any good
  10. I measure the oil with a set measuring cup. I was told that my bike was blowing a bit to much smoke hence 33:1 I dont know if it would make any difference though
  11. What oil ratio do you recommend I am running motel full synthetic oil on my stock 06 banshee except for KN and Jets. I ride at near sea level. Currently I am running 32:1 I have been advised by a friend to run 33:1 but the dealer reccomends 32:1 what are your thoughts?
  12. My friend is running a KN filter with no airbox lid graydon pipes and carbon tech reeds in standard cages. would be get any increase in performace if he went for dual KNs mounted to the carbs
  13. Any other opinions?
