  1. Did you trade? Very interested if you still have these. Will buy outright or have 1yr old Shearer (Cascade chrome) sb sf if w/silencers and stingers for trade. Need pics... Rick
  2. That's where I would start. Make sure jetting is good. Changing pipes and fuel will affect tuning. I also agree that +7 may be a little much for gas. I would bump it back to +4 and start there. Rick
  3. If you're going long distances, I'd get one with two axles...
  4. You wanting convert a banshee? I got the complete set up. Shocks, hubs, Tie rods, and arms. Arms are already cut and have the needed spacers. I would like to get $400 shipped for it all. Look HERE PM if interested Rick

    1-4 overide

I would suggest that you had other issues with the clutch. Too many shees run atf, including mine, with no clutch issues. Rick
  6. I run a Herr Juggs 421 cub, 39mm PWKs, alky, 100% sand drags. I run what Kevin recommended, Boyesen reeds on ported stock cages... Rick

    Drag pipes

Ditto on the inframes. I run Shearers from Cascade, well worth the extra $ for their chrome. IMHO, OOF are a PIA if you do anything but drag race on a smooth track and they are always in the way in the trailer. Rick
  8. How old is your 'Shee? How old are these bikes your buddies ride? I would guess that is the difference. Parts get worn and have to be replaced. I wonder, how many of these new four strokes will be around in 2025? Rick
  9. Sounds like it may be time for a tune up! Get yourself a Clymers Manual, if you don't have one. 1. Check your spark plugs (new ones are cheap), check for crisp, blue spark. 2. Service air filter(s). A clean filter is a must! 3. Clean, adjust, & sync carbs. Check these out and post back... Rick
  10. This setup has put a whoopin' on a lot of bigger motors. (Don't ask me how I know! )
  11. I ran 927+110 gas for a long time @ 40:1 with 0 problems. As stated above, if you're jetted right, you are good.
  12. This is not good! I am afraid you may have a piston sticking...
  13. Keep it up, keep the master cylinder full and you should get there...eventually
  14. Longwood or Longwood Again
  15. Solder most use 0.65"OD... OK...I'm old n slo...
  16. Looks like a Cascade seat to me...Cascade
  17. Do the duneable...you won't regret it!
  18. I am 53 and currently in the process of converting the cub to alky....
  19. I got the same setup except only a clean up port on gas, does 91 at the wheels. I would be surprised if you are not 100+.
  20. A handy chart 4 U  ...
  21. I ran a plate for a short time...it works. Granted, it is not the best way to do a 4 mil, but it will get you by until you get a proper top end. The milled head should work fine. Check your squish to be sure.
  22. Exactly! Run the spacer under the cylinders. That is the only way to compromise if you are planning on running the stock cylinders without porting. It works fine. I ran one in my bike for a season. I installed the 4 mil, long rod crank after spinning a rod bearing. Put a plate under the cylinders, ran stroker pistons under a stock head. Rick
  23. Run the plate. If you seal it properly, it'll work fine. When you get new cylinders, you can have them ported by a professional.
  24. Hmm...not sure who cut mine (got it thru Herr Jugs), but it looks like that one ^
