  4. So talked to a user on here about them and told him I told jim that I will be doing poth duning and dragging and he ported accordingly. He then asked me to measure from the top of the exhaust port to the top of the cylinder(port timing?)....I guess this tells what type of porting is done...measured at 27 mm, to which he said it was what I asked for. So a mix I guess or middle ground between the two.
  5. Pretty sure i metioned it was a passion 12 port in the title.....not sure what more my copying from PRE brought to the party, but hey if it helps you sleep at night then i am happy to oblige. Posting because you are genuinely interested vs. You have nothing better to do...twice in one topic.
  6. in the effort to prevent anyone else from blowing an o-ring....straight from PRE.....forgot to mention the pistons are wiesco's, will also sell the intake in the photo for an additional 50(150 new) 12 Port Stroker crank porting (Our Most Popular Engine) up to 80hp(gas) $445.00 NOTE: 12 port cylinders have 2 additional finger ports installed on each side of main intake ports and 2 window ports machined into liners for greater fuel atomization. This requires additional tig welding around both rear stud areas.

  9. these have been sitting in my garage, used for three trips out to pismo includes pistons & rings
  10. i have done both.....my raptor would not have been able to touch my small cub in a race, and it was almost a 80hp motor(660 based) and was spraying a 15hp shot. the other thing is the amount it costs. building my cub was MUCH less then my raptor(parts/porting), way more bang for your $.
