ok thanks guys i might as well do it next weekend after the long weekend and i could order a TOS removal kit too since the carbs are off what should my jets be and what clip? my elavation is 3800 ft at 10-30 degrees celcius

are you sure thats what it might be because i washed it then rode it and put it away it it was fine and i have never pulled a carb before. if its what you think then i well if i have to ill see what ohter guys think on here i dont know what i would do without this site and you guys on it. anybody else wanna help? thanks alot

ok so my 07 bansee that is 100% stock isnt runnng right it has only 7 hours on it and we did a proper break in on it. it goes like this, i kick it over 20 times and it only would start with full choke on then i let it warm up well that didnt happen it just died right away and i had to pop start it to get it going again well i got it going and i had to hold the throttle atleast at half for it to stay running and like holding it dead still it would go down in rpms and then shoot back up and then make a farting puff noise and go down and up etc. well i changed the plugs and it fired up first kick then died ... gt it going again and the right side was smoking alot and had good amount of preasure coming out the exhaust but the left side had hardly any preasure and just kept makingthe puff sound every so often and it would slowly get better at idling then it would just kill itself. so then i started messing with the TORS screw and it did nothing and i just put them back to where the were. i took it riding 15 days ago or so and it was running perfect i could kick it sitting down and it would idle perfect then i go home washed it and put it away, till oday when i was attempting to pull it around back it did what i said above, i did absolutly nothing over the 15 days when i finished riding it its runnng yamalube 2r at like 30:1 i know little heavy but it well be runnng 32:1 next tank so me and my dad (yes my dad, im only 14) stood there trying to think of what it could be so this is what we came up with 1. The gas might be bad (1 1/2 months old) 2. The TORS 3. The stator or plug wires 4. its not getting any or enough gas/oil from the pick-up bowls sorry for bad grammar and spelling im so pissed im saking. Thanks you alot for any help. Mike

would anybody tell me how to get the chain off my bmx bike? there is the odd looking link on the chain so how do i disconnect it to have a split chain and put it on another bike thanks for the help

oh haha i forgot to say tranny oil but yeah i use yamalube in my banshee and want to run something better grade but i want to know what works well and if ATF works good and if any ATF has friction mods in them im not an idiot im just new to banshees i know how they work and what not i know my stuff for my age i just want to run whats good and trying to find out what to buy thanks for the help guys

im not 15 but im 14 lol i hate ATVriders man you are right its all aboutcrap in the open forum i would rather waste my life away by going outside or working on my bikes then watch t.v and sit on computer all day then talk about it n a ATV site

well my sister trailblazer hasn't had an oil change for about 7 years so i think its time and i dont have a manual so i have no clue what kind of oil i should use would i just use ATF? im also probably going to use ATF in my banshee so i want to know if any have friction modifires is there a spacific brand of ATF that is super quality because i well probably use mobile 1 or penzoil ATF seems thinare you guys sure it is safe to run? i know i am anal about my banshee but its because i worked hard for it being only 14 thanks in advanced guys

is 3300 cheap for a 2001 banshee with pual tuners pipes, twist thorttle, nerfs, handle bars, seat cover and other little things thanks P.S i could probably get him down to 2900-3000

i got my bolts off and put the 2 little screws in about 1/2 a cm and it was tight but then it went just as loose after a little ride to tighten the chain do you put the little 10mm screws IN or OUT thanks

i was going to attempt to tighten my chain but i cant get the 2 big nuts off the bolts, i even put all my weight on them and it just dosnt give at all i dont want to put too much force on them so what do i do if i ever get them off should i use lock-tite when i put them back on thanks home dawgs

i am finally going to go ride for the second time and was checking over the shee and i notice that my chain was sagging like old lady tits (EX) well i got the measuring tape out and i pushed down and pulled up and from the bottom of the chain pushed down to the bottom of the chain pulled up was 1.5 inches so the slack from bottom to bottom of the chain is 1.5 inches max. i could find without sitting on it, im 140 pounds if that helps at all should i tighten it or is it fine thanks yall

is that amsoil interceptor stuff any good? i am leary about running something at 50:1 would it be possible to get that royal purple stuff you are talking about at a local canadain napa? what is good to run in the tranny that i could get at a local place too? i run yamalube at 32:1 but if i can find that royal purple nurple stuff i might try that got any info on it? is it synthetic

I have looked at lots of gas stations and all there premiums are 92 octane! does anybody have ideas of what I can do? thanks

well as some of you may know im parinoid about going up 500ft rejeting but my dads buddy that bought a kfx400 new just came over and he got slip on pipe for the kfx when he got it and asked if he well need to rejet and the guy at the dealer ship said that all kawis,suzis,yamas, and hondas all come jetted 5% richer in alberta and that he should be fine and not need to rejet do you think that yamaha would do that t a 2-stroke and have you ever heard of this around your areas? thanks

well my dad says that we arnt going to rejet so i atleast wnt to know if i well be lean or rich? beinga little rich is better than being a little lean correct? rich means more fuel/oil and lean means less fuel/o

ok i well call the stealership this weekend and PM you or something BTW who is your builder and what does he do? i just go on google to find the elevations i see and compare the results and there all the same if anybody knows of a good elevation finding site let me know

i only found one thing and it said mclean is about 2425 ft abve sea level? is your bike jetted for calgary? do you jet it for mclean

yea i think mclean is higher but im not sure i think ill check i wont be going out to sundre until the snow s all freakin gone because the trails can get super bad if its not dry
