so does anybody know what i should run for the weather and elevation i said in the first post? im probably going to be cleaning the bike tomorrow and doing the carbs tomorrow or the day after tomorrow thanks

oh yeh man the ride sucked it was a nice big rally me with the only 2-stroke it was a blast. i only got stuck 1 time and there was a guy on a new renegade that got stuck 4 times lol he told me i was a good rider and i told him this is my first manual bike and this is my first run lol the look on his face was priceless but after that it started to shit on us with hail and snow man it sucked flying down the highway in the weather while my bike is faring and burping oh it was bad i did go threw alot of water nothing to get into my airbox or such but the rad was smoking when i went threw it because there was still snow on the ground up top of the hill before it even snowed so it was really cold water well if anybody else thinks of what might help then dont be scared thanks warbag

yeah i was kinda thinking about the weather being the problem since it started snowing and hailing. lol but what about the part where it didnt want to run? would that be overheating? it was only about 30 - 45 min ride time and then there was a 20 - 30 min brake for beer and what not it was only about 15*C before it started snowing my bike does have engine ice and i do trail ride but i think it would take longer thn 3- - 45 min of riig for it to overheat well thanks for the help majicmike

wellover the long weekend we had a pokerrally which was gooduntil it got cold and started to rain so we bookedit back to camp and the whole way there it would want to die everytime i pull in the clutch and let it out again so ge it back to camp and it was spitting and farting all the way back down the roadwayso i was pissed all day. well i decided to try messing with my carbs for the first time and this is what i did, i took out the needle jet and put it on the 4th clip i thk (1 down from the 3rd slot, down as in towards the longer part of it so its on 4th or 2nd how ever you look at it) i went to adjust my pilot air screws and found out that the screw on the right carb was out 3 or 4 turns so i knew that wasnt right so i set them to 2 3/4 for now so let me clear this up needle jet is on the 4th slot counting from top as 1 and bottom as 5 pilot air screws both at 2 3/4 200 main jets temp. above 10*c elevation is about 3700 - 4400 feet mods: none at all hour: MAX 9-10 i still seems a little boggy befor the powerband so i know its still not right should i go back to the 3rd clip on my pilot jet and put the pilot air screws to where they are supposed to be (2.0 turns) i think it might have been my pilot air screws the whole time since it was 3-4 turns out on the one side and 2 1/2 on he other i ride at the same spot all the time too if that helps i am really taking into hand to sell my 07 if i have to do this all the time, maybe a nice 06 z400 well be better for me ... please help guys thanks alot

i was looking at getting a ratio rite cup but ... for 10 fuckn dollars here in canada i would rather just use the premix bottle and my jerry can or find a chart which is harder than it seems because most chart are gay looking

well im trying to figure out how much oil (ounces) i need to mix with 20 litres of gas (5 u.s gallons) i tried a ratio calculator it said that 13.5 ounces of oil to 5 gallons or 20 litres is 50:1 then i tried looking for charts which i found hardly any good ones and it showed 50:1 as 12.8 ounces of gas to 5 gallons or 20 litres ? like if somebody can find a good accurate chart than please give me the link! thanks Mike

if i can i would love to get amsoil dominator but i well never buy premix off the internet it cost me fuckin 85 dollars for for a rad cover and some smaller stuff like gascap and throttle and brake covers and headlight covers from UPS. i seen amsoil interceptor and just want to know if its better than yamalube 2R because yamalube 2R is 12 for 32 oz interceptor was alot cheaper but im leary about 50:1 could i run 40:1 or is 50:1 still enough, i know its synthetic and thats why but still 50:1 thanks Mike

well i fired my bike up today just to get it refreshed to sit for the week and was just letting it idle, the smoke out of both exhaust was perfectly eqaul but when i go to rev it up the left side (from sitting posititon) is a little more smokey not alot just a bit. my bike is all stock with TORS on it but thats just for idling speeds right? dosnt much affect the way the bike runs besides idling i know to turn them the same amount and etc if i want to adjust. i shouldnt be worried about my jetting being off on one side right? it is straight from the dealer. it could just be a little more oil went into the left line than the right because you cant really shake it so well in the tank after it sits for awhile. the packing in the silencers could have affect on how much smoke comes out too right? i dot think i should be worried do you? thanks Mike

sorry to ask but what kind of amsoil at what ratio? thanks for pointing that out so please no flaming im limited to oils here in canada nd dont have time to order oils from places so i am very interested in what all oils to see if i have access to them thanks -

lol just hopefully forcing it to run for like 5-10 minutes didnt do much to hurt it although i did shake it none stop so some gas would have got into the lines.

well...me and my dad decided to do process of elimination and so we start with spark, we had plenty then we thought well lets put new gas in it and this is where it starts to get ugly...we go to empty the tank and pull the hose of the tank to the carbs...no gas in it what so ever so we put it back on to the tank on/off/res switch and turn the gas to ON and nothing well then i thought the filter is clogged but then i hit it over to RES on the gas tank switch by accident and boom gas come out well we empty it all uot and put new gas in and i get on it and pump the throttle about 5 times and kick it and i have never heard my stock banshee sound so good to me i guess im not used to telling how much gas is in my tank yet. so my dad calls me loser for now on and i tell him to just forget about this day for the rest of his and my life thanks for all who helped im going to go kill myself now lmao just kidding

anything helps and i well probably start with draining my gas and running it until the good gas goes in thanks alot

it burp and farts mostly on the left side but sometimes on the right so how could both get plugged up in only 7 hours of ridin it?
