  2. 11 years old or 1 year old stock bore is stock bore meaning its probably not ported either as long as there is no damage these are probably just as good as the jugs off my 07 just give them a .020 bore and a port job of your needs and it would be perfect good luck and bump pictures would be helpfull
  3. a set of plugs well do you a year or so to check you main jet which is probably hy its way rich all you have to do is pull the carbs and take the bowls off and in the middle there is a gold hex shape with a hole its you main jet it well have a number on it and the higher the number the richer it gets you deffinatly need to rejet and get some rubberseals to go over the exhaust tubes connecing the to nicely and that well sto your leak good lucky
  4. i was starting my anshee today and let it warm up for about 15 20 min then started revving it (its jetted for 700 feet higher so it was a little rich and it would shoot a couple smoke circle im just wondering if this is ok it is all stock but i thought the smoke circle were cool (im a noob) anyways thanks for the responces
  5. i run 22 gators on the back, in the mud if its think i can pull te front end up they are heavy tough thats what you get with 6 ply but i find that the front of the shees are heavier then the back so putting the big tires on the back make it eaqual out a bit. i would also make sure you have some pretty tall front tires like true 21 or 22 tires not stock front tires because they make the shee look like a tractor. if you ride gravel and stuff i was looking at some other tires i well give you a link for that i think might work well http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...dFamilyId=17493 http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...dFamilyId=11867
  6. thats pretty sick and very different! im sure you can sell a couple of those bump

  9. ooh i totally understand that more compression smaller domes is a must but i was just wondering if it was safe to use octane boost for a little without worries lol sorry but it brings me to another question im in the market for a noss head and i was wondering what domes to use? now i have seen a pro design chart and it says at 4000ft a stock banshee has 106 psi and then it says 22cc is 116 or something like that well isnt stock 22cc anyways? so i am wondering how small i can go staying on 91 premium if i had 105 in both what could i go with? im thinking 20cc and plus 4 timing or to be safe 21cc and plus 4 timing thanks alot guys that help me a bunch
  10. ok now this has me conserned i just bought some lucas octane booster just thought i would try it through a couple tanks not for performance gains but i figured it would some what clean it out a little if you know what i mean (jets, lines etc.) its suposed to be good stuff and i would hate to waste the 15 dollars is it safe to run for a couple tanks on a stock bike? thanks oh sorry for asking a question in your thread
  11. sorry for asking a question in your thread snop but im confused now im in the market for vf3s but now i am not so sure if i read it correctly you have to grind the stock intake port for the vf3s to fit and you also need the cascade stuffers too for 230 i need to do all that just to get it to fit right? if soo screw that ill go with boyessen
  12. well my stock banshee beats a new 700 so something isnt right either your compression is low or yu are too rich so check your compression do a plug chop use a quality premix oil (amsoil, klots, castrol, maxima, etc) 40:1 is a good mix depending on your elevation i cant relly help out with the jetting but i think safe would be 290-300 mains with the lid removed but a plug chop is very important and so is a compression check if a stock raptor is beating you fmf are good pipes and as long as you have the outter wear for the k&n you should be fine but dont remove the lid unless you have no water to go through well good luck with her and dont forget to check your compression and do a plug chop you compression should be 120ish psi and both cylinders should be within 5 psi from each other
  13. 1500 or more is plenty i use a 1700 to get thick muscky mod of mine works great just dont use it on the rad use a garden hose with no attachment and spray from the back of the rad
  14. i hear that they are the next best thing to a boost bottle
  15. okay so i originally wanted to gea noss head with 21 but i hear that with all the little gaskets that they leak alot. so should i just shave the stock head? thanks

  19. i say compression check and then clean the carbs real good and check your jetting.when i let my bike sit i drain the carbs but when i turn the gas on and pump the gas 3 times and pull the choke out 1 stage it start 1 kick try that oh and try shaking the shit outta your gas before you start
