okay thanks ill pick up some 270s i would just buy a whole bunch if it was not so much for supid jets here in canada small like universal cycle is the cheapest place and its 10 bucks for 2 mains and the bigger dealers it is 10 bucks a main thats robbery

well with the 290s in i dropped the needle down a notch so now its on forth clip from blunt end .. i usually run 3rd clip so i was thinking 270 with the needle back to 3rd position thanks

pretty flat way up top would 270s be nice keep in mind its flat up top and it like -10 degreees celsius so i am thinking for +25 degrees celsius that 270 will be nice no airbox lid, and foam filter BTW

just spend 30 bucks and get a tusk one from rmatv its only money mine works good, i have my 07 stock cap lying around somewhere kinda orgot about it lol

what cap you got? i have the tusk one and the vent tube works good but gas does leak take the tube of and suck it or blow it not sure which i think you need to suck it yeah suck it. if it works good then stuff a spare main jet in the tube and that will stop the gas from coming out but not air flow .. as long as you have some

not to shake your thread but that thing is dirty as hell .. take a can of carb cleaner to it and take it to the car wash .. a couple times and re-paint the pipes

dude with 200 mains no wondr it was blown up .. i wuld change those for some 280s or higher before it goes and blows up again after you get that figured out if it still wont start then its pilot jet make sure you have the choke bowl on the left side too

im pretty sure there is a method for it and there are a couple vids on youtube .. not sure what they use but it has to do with fire and heat

you will never have the torque output from a shee motor to power a big enough supercharger to create more power .. you could easily lose power and reliaility. could you imagine the rad youd need just to cool it down. you choose the hard way we choose the simple way. imply because we know what can be and cant be done supercharging a shee isnt possible. you can eqiupt one but wtf im not going into detail now if you want it turboed then its possible .. it uses exhaust preasure not torque . you would need to fiure ou a good way to equalize the jetting for everything 1000rpm which is a hard task or fuel inject it say 15000 dollars and drop 5 on a cub and cpi or shearers play with the gearing and be st to go with whats simple and POSSIBLE

good point but i want to be on the safe side 8500 to replace it so not being able to cuz it didnt need a key to start

i rarely buy things online unless i really need them i honestly kills to ship things to canada for the TORS eliminator the shipping cost me more then the freakin part so for a 7 $ part ill be down like 47 $ including shipping ill just make my own out of plastic since its jus a key it dosnt need to be billet its like a half a pound and besides as long as the plastic is black which it is it will look alright

yeah cutting the wires crossed my mind a couple times.. if my shee was to get stolen and theres no need for a key insurance prbablywouldnt cover it anymore

super glu doesnt work i dont buy stuff off ebay and i don need full carbs so how reliable would a&b epoxy be ? is that it just a&b epoxy no special kind?

couldnt find anything on sudco so if i go dealer then its going to cost me a ton today it cost me freakin $20 for 2 290 main! so i say screw that keep your mains and went somewhere else to buy

well the super glue is holding okay right now but who knows how much should a carb bowl fun me? i dont have a welder i do have a soldering gun though :geek: thanks for the help so far btw theshee i fired it up today withthe pipes on ... which is how i found the leak .. but man it sounds wonderful and so loud! its likethis .. papop papop papop .. i actually had to keep tightening the carb idle screw and card tops it vibrated so much

so on the bottom of the bowl on one of the carbs(stock) there is a small brass or copper ball which the choke tube slides into (the left carb) and there is a small hair line crack where the ball goes and now leaks fuel badly for now i used crazy glue to see how it holds but dont know if thats very reliable what else could i do to fix it? where could i purchase just a bowl? ughh thanks for help guys
