  1. If the black touches the black/white you will have no spark,its grounding the cdi.Your key switch should be a red to a black
  2. Take a word of advise,it would be in your best interest to tare it down then order your parts ,a little paciance goes a long way.The aggrevation of buying wrong used parts sucks .Then you will know for sure whats in it

    My buddy has been begging me to go to the dirt drags near his grandfathers.This was the first time she has ever seen dirt and she loved it.I went there with a full asphault set -up and gave her a whip.I needed diffrent gearing bad but its the most fun I have had in a while,everyone was so nice and helped each other out.I was the only one running a stock banshee frame ,this outing gave me a dirt itch bad so I think im gonna build a 300 ft frame set-up.how long is too long.I ran 4.5 flat with screwed tires so im looking to do better next time.If any one has dirt tips let me know im gonna stud a set of tires and dont know which ones to do

If it were mine i would have gotten both done,its allways nice to have a fresh start,if the machine shop was good no worries about ripping the studs out,it also sounds like they did it rite.I would have given him the pistons with the sleeve so you dont have to pay twice,around here bore/hone is included with sleeve job.I have also seen mismatched motors that ran for years its just not prime condotions.Also sleeving is expensive I dont know how much you can demand them to do anything,if you came into my shop demanding shit I would tell you to kick rocks,especially if I did the rite job that you asked for.You could have bought used cylinders for that money stock bore and the whole business

  8. Snap on makes a bearing puller,its like a slide hammer with adjustable nose peices for diffrent jobs,its bailed me out on more than one occasion
  9. Maybe the meth rotted your crank seal or another rubber piece causing an air leak causing you to deisel the motor

Its actually in lawton PA,the only tires I have are snowmobile studded tires,im going with a buddy who races big rigid long thing.Im going to be under powered for the class ill be slotted in with those tires but I do it for me anyways.Im still trying to figure out details I can get an address if you need

  14. Thanks for the reply,Ive been into fabbing for a while now you guys definatily inspired me with those subframes ,arms,etc.Thanks for the help ill let you all know how she turns out.It just seems like im not losing any weight so my bike needs a diet

  16. Clean them pilots,thats a must have ciciut for starting your bike,take them out and run a small wire through it to make sure
  17. Did you clean the pilot jets out,If you blow air through the pilot circiut you should feel it in the carb throat with your finger,what is your compression?,how do the reeds look?

Thanks for the reply and thanks for the suggestion NYUK it is a nice peice,I just got a new tig set-up at my disposal,brigdeport,bender and a ton of other tools im going to make my own subframe and whatever else I need but I didnt have a good # to shoot for.My buddy and I have spent months and countless dollars building up the tool coral.I will also be making a frame from scratch over the winter when the weather sucks,thanks again

  20. You might have an air leak , pressure test that bitch b4 you drive yourself crazy,Two things I do every time a quad gets in my hands,compression test,pressure test,this way your not chasing your tail
  21. My bike as seen went low 12s at 101mph in the 1/4,not what I was going for but Im making small improvements every pass,its more driver error on my part,not kissing the tank,wheelie bar height etc It takes alot of passes to get your shit rite

Its a 2000 honda with a 370 big bore kit,ported head ,webcam,hardened rockers,rev box,oversized valves,works up front,rebuilt out back,race plastics,nerfs,bumpers,etc,I have pics of her if needed This was my wifes bike but shes ridden it once and I have too many toys,motor has little time on it..The big bore kit was a Four stroke tech,mickey dunlop special,Its an excellent trail machine ,every time I have had it out it towed someone back.good starter bike for someone
  23. Im in the process of lightening a stock frame ,does anyone have any solid #s on what a lite stocker should weigh,I allready took 10 lbs off,if any one has pics of there frame lightened let me know
