Its really hard to say with just a mic,your micing the skirt not the top rite,if you take a ring off the piston whats the ring gap?Do you have a bore guage?With a bore guage you can check if the cylinders bore is true the whole way down.I had some noise in a motor and it turned out to be an untrue bore.The other thing is,if your detonating you could have collapsed the skirt of the piston,causing some noise

Im running the same motor as you with 20cc domes and I kick 175 both sides,you bought that piece from kubitza rite,did you buy the 19s from jeff also.What size base gasket are you running,those domes didnt come with the motor because he ran alky,just wondering,with 20s I run straight c-12,c-16 VP fuels

You have to unplug the TORS box next to the coil upfront,you will need new throttle cable,trim unused wires if you want

replace the seals,cheap insurance,your right the lock-up on my buddies R1 is a little diffrent,but the one you have works good,I run all stock springs so it reacts like a two step,did you do your tranny?

I run all six stock springs,3heavy-3light weights on the lockout and im pretty happy with its ability to be slipped out the gate on asphault,it also locks when needed
