I have a set of shearer inframes with an air box,i called matt shearer and asked him to make me a set of custom rear bends,there tits and fit great,took some time but its not his ordinary shit I can get picks later if u want
In my drag bike I have ran both,I became a dealer with amsoil and get good prices that way,now I deal with jeff at FAST alot so he orders me supertechniplate,I really like how the motor looks when it comes apart with the techniplate thats what counts to me.I dont know if its becuase I ran it for so long but I have seen many cranks take the fall with amsoil.

Get a few cans of carb cleaner,fill crank with carb cleaner,suck it out with shop vac,then fill again and rotate it,vac it again then oil the shit out of it,sand is nasty though,spin it slow to feel any dirt
If your worried about electronics you can pull the cdi plug,I have welded to many bikes without removing anything with no problem,What kind of welder is he using mig,tig ?
I love compression and race gas,add a lil timing with the gas and your in there.It depends what your used too,I dont think cubs are the handfull everyone makes them out to be either,im used to street bikes.If your not happy he will make it rite.

I just recieved my pipes back from shearer for second time,I have not installed them yet because im not happy with the chrome,Im thinking of powder coating over the chrome for a blackchrome affect,do you think it will hold up to the heat well,any opinions would be a great help
Try adjusting your air screws ,go a lil in each direction and test drive it,if not I have used 27.5 pilots with fattys with good results,also have found on a basically stock set-up like yours 240 mains,needles jacked up to the richest position,with air box lid on w/KN filter
With coil disconnected you should read in the range of 4-7 ohms roughly from plug cap to plug cap,I have 5 diffrent bikes in my garage rite now they read 5.3-5.5 ohms,If you get 5.3 with wires off replace wires and caps with aftermarket,just make sure wires are made for banshee type coil
i have Two testers , one is the rite length, I have tried both and noticed minimal diffrence,0-6 lbs depending on motor,im sure other people will have something to say but,this is what I found
Banshee dan is rite its not a recurculation tank,follow the lines youll see ,I have had five bikes with none the only one that runs it is my drag bike as per track rules,
I dont know anything about an r1 set-up but if you dont loosen the nut it wont adjust,it will just spin,there might be lock-tight on it so try a lil heat
