Why would I be insane for mixing at 25:1 Its says in the manual that you can mix your gas like that. I know break in is based on rpm and shit but I have ran almost 2.5 gallons of gas through it and it runs like a raped ape. I mix my 96 banshee at 40:1 with golden spectro and again why would I be insane for mixing the first tank of gas at 25:1??? some people mix there gas at 25:1 all the time. What main should I run I have asked this question like 3 times in the past couple weeks before I even had the bike runing and had no replies. Bout to say fuck it and call FMF tomorrow and ask them.

I have some older style hubs off of a J arm bike. They are the bigger bolt pattern. Dont know if this is what your looking for just though I would throw it out there.

I need to find out if my jetting is right. I just rebuilt my 87 motor and I think I am runing a little lean by the looks of the plug chop. Bored .040 stock reeds 27.5 pilot 300 main 2 into 1 K&N filter with whole box cut off so its an open filter Older style FMF pipes Mixing the gas at 25.1 right now for the first few tanks since the motor is fresh Dont know the elevation here in michigan but im near detroit. Anybody in miching runing these pipes what jets are you useing.

Not trying to hyjack your thread but if anyone else is looking for some of these pipes I have a pair of headers with no silencers sitting on the bench in my garage if anybody is interested $100 plus shipping obo no dents or dings but the chrome is not in the best of shape. Damn thats a nice color combo you have going there looks bad ass :thumbsup: I cut my rears today and It sure does look different but I guess I have to get use to it for now. I want some T5's so new plastics are going to be put on hold for a little while.

So the rear fenders on my 96 are getting weak and starting to sag. I rather buy my T5's than new plastics so im going to cut them. I need some examples to go by because I dont want to cut them off and have the rears look like shit. So If you could post up come pics of your cut rears I would appreciate it.

If you think you have a head gasket leak. Do a leak down test and spray the head with some soapy water. If there is a leak it will bubble.

I would say it looks a tad on the lean side. When I do my plug checks/chops I usually cut them because you get the most accurate reading like that. Id rather cut the threads and make sure im not running lean better to be safe than sorry. What you need to do is warm the bike up. Pull the plugs and put brand new ones in. Go throught 1-6 and hold it WOT for a few seconds in 5th and 6th. Then pull the clutch,Kill the bike, and coast to a stop. Get back to the shop and cut the threads off. Then after that post the pics up. This will give you a more accurate idea of where you jetting is at.

Its not realy a plug chop unless you cut the threads...
