  1. I appreciate the input, I think you are all right.. I will just buy the plastics....Thanks again God Bless..
  2. I know this sounds cheap but I want to know if anyone out there has tried to paint their plastics? If so what did you use and how good did it work?? I know,I know I am a cheapo. But unfortunately money is very tight right now and I would love to change the color of my banshee...... Thanks ahead and God Bless...
  3. Tire Slime works great. I have aluminum ones and it sealed it very quickly. Sometimes you will have to ride it a couple of times to distribute the slime but after 20 to 30 minutes no more problems...
  4. Does anybody know where you can learn how to rebuild your own banshee motor. Mainly I want to know how to bore it out a little and change jets. Another quick question. How do I tighten the brakes on the bike. The pads look good just the brake feels loose and does not stop very well.. Thanks again and God bLess...
  5. Is there any way you can answer a question on a warrior???
  6. WORKED GREAT, I guess that little hose was more important than i thought. Thank you so much for your gelp..
  7. THank you so much, I hope to talk againn.. If you need anything let me know.. [email protected]
  8. Do you know where to find the diagram to where to hoses hook up??? Thank you so much for helping me...
  9. I do not have the hos between the two carbs. Would that make an erratic idle and throttle sticking problem...
  10. I took the bike to Yamaha of Atlanta to check compression and they just said it was normal. I have the two idle screws. The top of my carbs have the twist knobs but do not have the metal switch looking boxes as pictured on the ebay motors auction. Thanks by the way for trying to help me..
  11. I do not want to sound dumb but I know I am anyway. How do I know if I still have the TORS. WHat does it look like?? Compression is good and checked. They are stock carbs because the guy I bought it from said they were. I appreciate your help.
  12. I recently purchased a 89 banshee from a friend. I cleaned the carbs and replaced the jets. The problem I am having is the banshee will not start on its own. It needs a shot of starting fluid and then once it is started it will not idle. Also the throttle seems to stick and bike seems to high rev and then try to die???? Could the slides be sticking. Also it seems that it will dump some fuel out of the overflow tubes. I have calibrated the floats and rebuilt the carbs. Any ideas on the idle issue?? I have set the idle screw as described in the manual. 2 turns.. I am kind of new with the 2 stroke Bikes so any help would be appreciated...
