  4. I dont have any old plates. The ones I have are still good. Im putting the motor back together and This part is holding me back. I dont have a impact gun either. Is there any way to do it or should I try to find the special tool.
  5. Yea im talking about the big nut that you have to bend the tab on, its under the pressure plate. I will try the penny trick but do I have to take out the clutch plates to do it and will it break anything?
  6. How do can I tighten the clutch boss. It shows in the manual that I have, You have to use a special tool to hold the clutch boss while you torque it to 65 ft/lb. Is there a way to do it with out this tool? This part is holding me back and I need to get this figured out.
  7. $100 is a steal does it come with the title to?
  8. Yea I think im going to jump on them. Im sure I can rig them up somehow if I cant then I will just sell my silencers and look for some used sst silencers
  9. I had this problem too. It would pop/backfire out of the right silencer on my 96 shee and it would also idle/rev fine. I never found out what was wrong with it. I just put it up and started to build my 87 banshee from the ground up. I tried so much shit to try and figure it out but it was a no go nothing seemed to make it stop. Let me know if you solve your problem and what it was.
  10. Not looking to sell mine. My brother works with someone that was selling some sst pipes only for $120... Guess I will just stick with my old school gold series untill I get some CPI's or T5's
  11. Do the FMF sst pipes require different silencer pipes? If I bought some FMF sst pipes would I be able to use the older gold series silencer pipes I have? I thought I read somewhere that they have different silencers than FMFs older pipes
  12. Its good to have a welded crank either way. Why would you buy a bike without a welded crank. It will save you money and time spliting the cases down the road when you start to add mods, unless you plan on keeping it completly stock with pipes maybe.
  13. Well if you decide to part it let me know what kind of pipes you have. Im looking for some inframe CPI's or T5's.
  14. If you are still looking I ran across a guy selling a 1990 Suzuki LT 250r with the power valve motor a few weeks back for $700 he is also from MI. He said it runs but makes some type of noise I forgot what exactly was wrong with it but it was a easy fix. If you are interested send me a PM and I will give you his contact info
