If your 95 is a clean bike and in good condition than you should be able to get $1800 for it. Try puting it on ebay or craigslist.

Check to see if you are getting spark. It could also be a gas issue like the guy above said but I would also check for spark.

I just got some toomey T5's and was wondering what the Michigan guys were jetting at. I am around 560 ft above sea level Dual K&N pods Stock carbs Dont know what needles are in the carbs but they have 6 groves so they are not stock needles. Boyseen reeds

If you believe that it is the impeller than just take a look nothing realy to it. I doubt it is the impeller though considering its a 07 I dont think it would take a shit on you this soon. I too think its the head gasket material coming off. let us know what you find out.

Yea I could do that but that is more work than testing the wires on the stator. I will go look for my clymer its somewhere in the garage. Im thinking its the stator or the cdi box is acting up.

How do I check the stator. I know I have to use a ohm meter but that wires should I touch it to and what should they read.

Use a compression tester. Hold the throttle in and kick it untill the needle stops.

Man I swear I have the worst of luck.Went to start the 87 shee today and it would not start :: . I checked for spark NONE. I was like damn this sucks pulled the coil of my 96 put it on my 87 and still no constant spark. It will spark once in like 50 kicks. The bike was running great like 5 days ago when I last took it out. I also put in the plugs that were on my 96 with probly 3 20 second starts on them because I am also having problems with that bike also I think it has an air leak so I know the plugs were good. Also took off the fly wheel cover to see if maybe the flywheel came loose but everything is still the same. Looked for frayed wires in the harness and could not find any. What could it be?

If you are down to take the motor out of the frame and split the cases and change out the seals I would say go for it. If it was me I would just because its not that hard to split the cases if you have a clymer manual it will walk you thru it and you could always ask the people on this board for help. I think for 1400 its not to bad of a price.

Yea thats what I will probly do. I took the flywheel cover off a little while ago and noticed that the timing plate is advanced 3 or retarded 3 I dont rember which one all I know was there was numbers on both sides of the plate so I dont know which one it was and the damn mosiquots(sp?) were going to town and I was getting eatin alive so I called it a night. The guy I bought the motor from said he never advanced or retarded the timing when I bought it from him. Would this cause it to pop and backfire?

Man that looks like shit... The 87 that I just rebuilt did the EXACT same thing even in the same cylinder. I got the crank out and there was no lower rod bearing left it was like the bearing blew up or some shit lol. Might as well go with a 4mill and get some port work done.

Yes, It pours out of the overflow tube. Its pops and backfires on the right side and leaks gas out of the overflow on that carb only.
