well, i took it out for its first real test ride yesterday for about 2 hours. I was ripping threw the woods and across some farm fields. this motor has great mid range power. i can ride all the trails with no problems at all and when we hit the fields i could let it rip. I need to get some new tires on the back of this thing as it just spins like crazy when i go full throttle. I was ripping around with a bolt on banshee and i can truly say this bike is a whole different animal. I still need to work some kinks out like gearing, tires, jetting and that stuff, but over all I'm happy with this motor. the real test is gonna be against my buddies mild 700 raptor. the shit talking has already begun.

Well, my banshee blew up last fall and over the winter i had Kevin do a dune port on it. I also stripped the bike down and paint the frame and collected other parts for awhile. I lost interest in it for a little while there too, but i finally threw it back together today. all i can say is WOW. this thing is way faster than it ever was. I have major traction issues and the top end pull is unlike any other banshee i've ever ridden. Its also still has ok bottom end and dam good mid range pull. my old set up was a 4 mill with a spacer plate and fmf's for the most part. Now its got a ported 4 mill, CPI inframes, 35mm pwks, pods filters , boss intakes, timing plate, and list goes on pretty much. this things it is fucking animal and after playing around for a hour i think i need a new clutch! anyway props to HJR!! I'm so happy with this bike right now its not even funny! also i should give props to FAST because Jeff did get me all the parts fast for good prices and answered all my question when i first started do this build.

im still waiting for the pipes to come, i bought them off ebay.

basically, I doing up a friends banshee. I putting on T5s, boyesen reeds, TORS eliminator kit, timing plate and proflow air box with no lid. other than that its stock and we're at sea level. i was hoping someone could giving me the jets specs for these mods. thanks Bill

Chavous and Davis are both pro's now and Jason just rides with them sometimes. he's fast, but doesn't do a lot of racing just practice shit. Lee has a track up off ridge road, but he lives off 309 by monkeyville.

I haven't raced since 05. i use to ride motocross and at some point i'd like to get back into shape and race a few harescrambles. as for the local kids, yes they do race. how good they are idk, i never rode with them. they'll only ride motocross and i try to stay away from riding motocross anymore because i always get hurt some how.I think east coast ports their own cyls and stuff, but idk if they build the complete motors. i would think they do. their are no local spots to ride around here anymore. I know a few farmers who let me ride on their land, thats it. i use to head up to hazleton until they shut that down. I have hit up shamokin a few times and that was pretty bad ass, it just way far.

Im from Doylestown. they sponsor a few local kids from town or so they say. as for my shee, it has a 4 mill ported by herrs jugs racing and yes i intend on kicking their asses in drag racing. :biggrin: for motorcross ill stick to bikes.

any of you guys ever use them?? all the local kids swear up and down about this place. they build the fastest banshees this that and the other thing. My buddies shee has just pipes and a big bore with no porting and they sold him 34mm flat sides the other day. the tech guy up there told him he needed them because he has the big bore kit and shit. talk about selling someone something they don't need. you can't bore most motorcross bikes. I would get it ported based on how good of a rider he is.

I raced one on a stock 05 banshee. i jumped him out of the gate because i thought i was gonna get my ass kicked, but he never got around me. so, yeah im not impressed.

a stock turbo off a probe is way to big for a blaster, it would never spool it and busa's never came turbo bud. do you know anything about bikes or cars???

no, i was gonna buy one or use my buddies. I kinda thought it would be a good idea to do it. his banshee doesn't skip a beat. I never seen one run so perfect. Hes got 5 years on his top end and it still has perfect comp.

how are you guys syncing your carbs with the boss racing intakes? dont you have to block off the cross over tube??

i have a bunch of parts that if you put them all together it may make a banshee.
